I do think there’s an irony in both of our current midfielders being linked to Man City for years and it’s one of our discarded midfielders who ends up making the big money move there (though I think Tonali’s ability to play for them exists mostly in his agent’s head)

It should never have gotten that desperate but that’s an entirely different argument .
