Yorkie
This place has its dementors and it's been hard to read for a lot of the last 12 months; but hard agree on Twitter being a thousand times worse. Blown away by some of the hate I read on there pointed at people who are as fitting of legendary status as anyone ever associated with the club. It's incredible. And yeah it is depressing, despite what some condescending boomer twat might have to say on the supposed fragile emotional state of today's contributors to society. By the standards of the wider internet in 2026 this place is unreasonably reasonable. I'll never even attempt to discuss NUFC anywhere else

I was born in 1978 so I'm not a Boomer. Hope me pointing this out doesn't cause you too much heartache.

I'm pretty confident now that 96/97 Keegan would have been getting both barrels by these bell ends around Christmas time.

Also a lot of people struggle to accept that others may have a different opinion or outlook as they do. I've never seen any personal abuse aimed at Howe on here. Plenty saying he's taken us as far as he can and plenty saying he hasn't. Nothing more than that. If anyone has taken offence at anything said on here then I'm genuinely lost for words as it's mild as fuck. Can't speak for what's happening on the likes of X but if people are letting some faceless knackers on there who are on for engagement upset them then they'd be best off imposing their own Social Media ban upon themselves. Aye the crowd not losing their minds over one average season after what preceded it are the overly sensitive ones. Load of bollocks, as per.

Load of bollocks, as per. The crowd lost their minds? That's news to me. Think you're definitely being over sensitive if you truely belive that! Literally nothing wrong with questioning a manager after his team lost 20 odd games in a single season and rolled over not once, but twice to their biggest rivals.
