I'm trying to compose myself tonight by remembering that we just need to do our part. Get ourselves up to 34/35 points and the rest will fall into place.

But today's results haven't landed well :(

Swings and roundabouts. It's went from 3 from 4 to 3 from 7 (possibly 9) and we are the form team.

Another week closer to the end of the season and still 4 points clear. Wasn't the worst weekend and if anyone is gonna be 4 behind us I'm glad its Watford because I think they're the worst of the 3. My biggest concern is Burnley and we're still 5 ahead of them. Win next week and I think I'll go down to a 1 tbh.

If only we had more goals in the team, I'd be infinitely less worried

That is the worry as our improvement recently is down to our defence.

A win against Brentford would be huge. Watford and Burnley play their games in hand on Wednesday, they're at home to Palace and Spurs respectively.

Just had a look at the fixtures and Burnley probably have the best ones out of anyone with eight games still to play at home. They have Tottenham, Palace and Leicester coming up which normally you would say are hard games, but all 3 are in iffy form. Still think we will be ok, need to get a result next week as I think it could be Brentford who will drop ;(Everton or Leeds could also be in big trouble). My one concern is not having Wilson for the guaranteed goals he gets.

Watford play but it's not a game in hand on us, we've played the same.

It is no matter what people say, Wood has looked exactly what I thought he would be

Ah. Still, they play on Wednesday. I'd probably expect them to win tbh.

Im a 3, the only thing that can derail us is more injuries.    We are playing in a structure and all the stats are rising.   Brentford and Everton have to be really concerned!

Not our defence.....our defending. The midfield off the ball has been very strong and with the players available I never thought we'd be able to do an effective high press.

3 or 4 more wins and a few draws. Carry on like we are playing well be more than cush.

No point worrying about the stuff around us. If we'd said we'd be in this position 6 or 7 weeks ago we'd be buzzing

Spot on. The results today from Burnley and Watford shows anything can happen but I like our resilience and defence now and we’re doing ok with major names missing. I think Bruno G will eventually come in and improve our general play even more.

There’s a few sides needing an anti-relegation booster. As it stands there’s seven involved and Palace play Burnley and Watford in their next two, so could be eight. The bottom half is becoming murky

And we have, hopefully, Wilson, Trippier and an up-to-speed Guiamãres to come for the battle

If Wilson returns for a decent run of fixtures I’ll have absolutely no worries

He was said to be out for around 8 weeks from his injury which he picked up on 27 December, which is this Monday. Could see him back in a matchday squad for Brighton (h).
