Haha, they’ll never build that.

I could imagine 1 chimney, but a load of them? Nah. It looks AI generated.

Why not?

They just decided to put hundreds of thousands into design plans, feasibility studies etc., without the opinion of Stifler. Rookies.

I just don’t think they will. It seems like one of those designs that will be diluted in time.

What do you mean? They'll strip back on the number of chimneys they'll install as the stadium build progresses?

Yeah I think that will be the biggest example. I also think those giant staircases outside are a bit much as well, and those elevated walkways are failed 60’s brutalism.

The fact that no capacity, and no images of it hosting anything outside of football with the alternative surfaces and what type of multipurpose flooring/storage system they are going for is quite telling.

They never mentioned the capacity at the event, and in the images there is 1 image of it hosting a concert, but like I said there is a lack of detail on other things.

Something seems off about it, they might use this as template or basis of what they want to do, but I think that there will be significant changes to the final design.

I hope they pull it off. Looks cracking

I quite like it.  The chimneys look good in some of the images and not so much in others.  But makes it slightly different from the generic bowls we keep seeing, at least.

Those chimneys are supports to keep the roof up and also act as entry points. No chance they can strip back on those.

They can if they come up with an alternative supporting structure.

What? It doesn't take years and years and years to announce plans?

 I wish we'd get on with just developing our equivalently available and relatively unconstrained site right next to our stadium.

Ridiculous - that's another subscription people will need. Fans are being fleeced.

Paramount + is class fwiw in the US anyway. Had the League Cup final till the new League Cup started. Backlog of games and leagues is brilliant value for money. Think it’s only $8 here.

I understand the thing about chimneys and Digbeth history and architecture but I can't get over those fucking tramps thinking they're going to look anything other than stupid with 30,000 empty seats.
