Paul Merson is a likeable chap generally speaking but how he is on Soccer Saturday I do not know.

When he isn't live, he genuinely seems a nice bloke.

When he's stuck in front of cameras or made to ghost write columns for sky sports, however, he's very much the leading member of the Arsenal Tuesday Club waster.

Mock obituaries and eulogies are English sport’s oldest jokes.  There’s loads of mock obituaries from Victorian era football in the histories of that era.  The Ashes come from one of these mock obituaries to the England cricket team.

Does he still do his YouTube videos?

He seems to have dropped out of the limelight in regards to NUFC recently, he’s usually always got to poke his nose into something.

I think he peaked in his “Bald Tory Nonce” era.
