They have made a bid but nothing has been formally agreed, we also don’t know that if they do takeover them, if they a will merge streaming services or keep them separate.

In fairness if the full quote was "I was rapid which was good because my positioning was consistently dreadful and why I looked totally finished as soon as I lost half a yard" then he's not wrong, but to say he was as quick as VDV is standard Sol

Campbell was a fantastic defender tbf, he’d be more fondly remembered if he didn’t have grandiose narcissism.

 

Come to think about it our best CB’s tend to be ridiculous characters. Look at Terry and Rio.

Woodgate is an arsehole as well and carragher hockles in peoples faces 

 

I hope Ledley King was a decent fella

Yeah.  Big Sulzeer Jeremiah was rapid and a very good defender.  Just a weapons grade nobhead.

He was and is an absolute diamond, fortunately.

 

Sol Campbell is one of my little pet quirks actually. I’m one of the very few Spurs fans who has some sympathy with him, or at least the him when he was playing. I went to a huge chunk of the games he played for us. When he came in Spurs were falling apart on and off the pitch and he had a huge amount of responsibility put on him even in his first few games. We’d have him on as a full back and senior players would give him the ball and expect him to do so much. He was obviously going to be great but he came in at precisely the wrong time - we were heading down while football and so many other teams were heading up. Sure, he fucked us over, but he also gave us a ton.

Chose Notts County and their ridiculous short lived money over us and then sacked it off after one game, the tit. Only we were stupider for signing him the following summer when we were a level higher and he was a year fatter and slower.

Mind you, who in their right mind would have signed for us in the summer of 2009? The club was in a right mess. 
 

He also ended up starting for Arsenal (once again) a few months later, bizarrely.
