Don't know why but Caulkin always putting swear words in his headlines really winds me up for some reason. Like he's trying to be too edgy

He's dangerously close to becoming one of those people who say wankpuffin and cockwomble on Twitter

Player of the Season: Joelinton

Most Improved Player of the Season: Longstaff

Most Disappointing Player: Targett

Signing of the Season: Pope

Goal of the Season: Too many important ones; Miggy at Fulham for the audacity, but could probably be Isak v Spurs because it capped off that absurd Willock pass

Assist of the season: Willock vs Spurs, Isak vs Everton - draw

Game of the Season: Spurs Home, Brighton Home - draw

Moment of the Season: Bruno's goal versus Brighton was the moment for me but close second was Joelinton's versus Spurs when he rounded Hugo

Am I the only who gets a bit pissed off with the ‘top 10 would’ve been a good season’ tripe? We finished 11th last season purely on the basis of a top 4 (38 points I think) second half of the campaign, and strengthened the squad significantly in 2022. 9th or 10th would’ve represented regression.

Yep, I thought a top 7 challenge at least. Obviously that wasn't taking into account Spurs and Chelsea going to shite, but I thought a couple of clubs like West Ham would still be strong too.

Player of the Season:

1. Trippier

2. Joelinton

3. Every fucker else

Most Improved Player of the Season:

1. Longstaff

2. Miggy

3. Murphy

Most Disappointing Player:

1. Dubravka for being a gloryhunting tit

2. Fraser for being a bogstandard tit

3. Gordon for being a bit shit after costing £40m

Signing of the Season:

1. Isak

2  Botman

3. Pope

Goal of the Season: So many to pick from. 1/2: Maxi at Wolves or Almiron at Fulham. Can't choose.

3: Trippier vs Man City

4. Schar vs Forest

5. Murphy vs Spurs

Assist of the season:

1/2 Isak dribble to set up Murphy tap-in at Everton or Willock pass to Isak home to Spurs. Again cant pick one.

3. Think it was Schar that played the ball through for Joelinton at West Ham?

Game of the Season:

1. Man Utd (h)

2. Spurs (h)

3. Man City (h)

Moment of the Season:

1. Eddie Howe running towards the away fans on Sunday punching the air and letting a bit of emotion out after staying so calm all season.

2. Isak penalty at Forest. Winning away from home in injury time is just special

3. Final whistle vs Leicester to confirm Champions League

I asked my 6 year old these questions. He started to get interested towards the end of last season so this was his first full season.

Player of the Season: Bruno
Most Improved Player of the Season: Botman
Most Disappointing Player: Joelinton, too much fighting at the end (he worries about red cards)
Signing of the Season: Isak
Goal of the Season: Bruno v Brighton
Assist of the season: Wilson to Bruno v Brighton (he loves this goal)
Game of the Season: 3-3 v City
Moment of the Season: Beginning of Spurs
Manager rating out of 10: 10
Season rating out of 10: 5, City are so much better (tough critic)

Player of the Season: Joelinton
Most Improved Player of the Season: Longstaff, Miggy and Murphy so close too.
Most Disappointing Player: Fraser, showed glimpses last season of being useful, also thought Shelvey might contribute positively this season (some might say he did by leaving!)
Signing of the Season: Isak, with Botman super close.
Goal of the Season: Miggy vs Fulham, just outrageous.
Assist of the season: Willock vs Spurs for Isak, pure filth, and Isak vs Everton, oh my word.
Game of the Season: Spurs (H) / Man Utd (H) / Brighton (H) as we looked and felt so dominant despite the added pressure. Also, Leicester away after the restart, straight back to business as usual, and West Ham away, pumping them in their own stadium is always fun.
Moment of the Season: Walking along Wembley Way, been too long!
Manager rating out of 10: 9.5, might be harsh, but some of the draws should and could have been wins and the League Cup Final. But, love Eddie and his team, feels the perfect fit, at the perfect time, Keegan vibes but with a more steely and serious edge, going to be an absolute legend.
Season rating out of 10: 9.5, same reason as above.
