Richard Steadman who did the surgery on Michaels leg is the best Knee surgeon in the world, he has dealt with many a case like Owens, it is of his opinion that when fully healed with the right physiotherapy and training regieme, michael will be back to his best, it should be like his knee was never injured at all.

In fact it should be as the phrase says "good as new"

What people don't realise is that players like owen have immense mental strength Which makes them so adaptable, the guy has bundles and bundles of intelligence. he's self confident and doesnt let things get to his head.

His movement off the ball is second to none and his presence alone makes a difference

Owen was never about pace he was about acelleration and the ability to react quicker than most defenders. In football it is a bonus to have physical ability such as pace, speed, strength, height or power. Micheal Owen has something which in un teachable and because of that whether he comes back with pace or not he will score goals for us.

even if he's only back for a season (i believe he'll stay longer) there's still much that wor oba can learn from him about movement & making/timing runs by playing and training with him.  hurry back mickey!

when owen finally gets back he will only be back a couple of weeks then he will be back on the treatment table he was a bad buy when anyone could see we desperately needed two or more strikers and that idiot souness was allowed to waste another 16 million.

if we are lucky owen will score a few goals at the end of the season and liverpool might take him back next season for bellamy or crouch.
