We are looking to get in contact with dedicated Newcastle fans, who have a comprehensive knowledge of the club and the players. Everyone has differing opinions, it's just that the better posters can back up their opinions and some seemingly just some random numbers next to the players. You don't want the same person meaning "average" and giving 5, when the next person also means "average" = 7 The Independent used to have a good set of criteria for assessing players in PL games. Their view was that across the whole PL you should expect no more than half a dozen 10/10 performances in a season. (They usually got fewer than this) Each week they expected to get half a dozen 9/10 across the 10 games being played. An average performance in their eyes was 5 or 6 out of 10 and that was what you should expect from the vast majority of the players each week. A player sent off int he first half couldn't really be justified getting much more than a 0. You should think about this and set your own criteria.
