I'm sorry but I completely disagree, not that he is brilliant in midfield, but his performances in recent games as a striker have proven that he isn't a natural or even good striker - he doesn't have the natural positional instincts of a striker nor the finishing of a striker. He would be ideal as a player behind the front two but I worry when people think of Dyer as a striker. Once Owen comes i'd like our formation to be: Dyer (ss) Owen Martins (ss) = Second striker What music would you like to accompany this? I'm not confident Chopra would do at this level. If Shola ever scores 20 goals in a Premiership season, just let me know, please. That 'won't happen, ever. But, problem with Ameobi is not solely in his ability or disability to score. Problem is that when you're playing with him in the team it looks like you have one player less on the pitch. I thought it's pretty obvious Martins can exchange passes, even when paired with less than top of the class striker like Sibierski. But then, some people prefer hockey to football...
