Nobby
Bolton have released Henrik Pedersen, David Thompson, Quinton Fortune and Cesar. The quartet have been informed they will not be offered new deals when their current contracts expire later this summer. Pedersen has spent six years at Bolton, but he told he would not be offered a new deal by former boss Sam Allardyce last month. The Dane had hoped new Bolton manager Sammy Lee may grant him a reprieve, but Lee has decided to let the utility man move on. Midfield man David Thompson only joined the club last January, but he does not figure in Lee's long-term plans. Former Manchester United ace Fortune has struggled with injuries since joining the club last summer making just seven appearances in the first team. Spanish defender Cesar made only one appearance for Bolton after arriving from Levante last year. However, Bolton have offered new deals to Tal Ben Haim and young Polish defender Blazej Augustyn and are waiting for their responses on the offers on the table. ----------- do we want any of these? Guest
Hopefully Ben Haim will tell them no.
Nate
Allardyce fell out with Pedersen before he left Bolton, so there's little chance of him turning up. If people are hoping to see Babayaro sold, we could do worse than Fortune as a cheap, backup left-back. Well, maybe not much worse, but still. Guest
Surely there's a reason why he's being let go after one year though.

Guest Gemmill
I reckon Fortune might end up at the mackems. Remember reading an interview with Keane once where he said he's the first player he'd pick in a 5-a-side of his Old Trafford teammates cos of his commitment. AyeDubbleYoo
They were always going to offer Ben Haim a new contract though I imagine, doesn't mean he is any more likely to stay than before really.
