Good debut, unlucky with the offside decision because he was clearly level, so he should have had two debut goals despite playing half the game in midfield.

 

Given the lack of fitness of a few of our players and his performance today he's got to be down as a definite starter for the Bolton game.

Seriously, I'd rather have Smith over the names mentioned. He's a much better all-rounder than any of them and while people are justified to question his goalscoring record, he offers much more than goals and is one of those players who I imagine all managers would love. Fergie is no idiot, he signed Smith because he wanted a good player and a great character, something that often gets overlooked as people wank about records and flair. If Smith is the quality level Sam's aiming for for the squad, then I'm well pleased.

Aye one of the reasons KD comes online is to brag about how well spurs are doing, which is irritating, but he could be a hell of a lot more annoying and doesn't go too overboard.
