  1. So you’re just saying that without injuries and 6 extra games we’ll be stronger this year. I mean I get that. With zero injuries this year we’ll certainly be stronger.
  2. But why aren’t you comparing to last season? are you saying we’ll get 3rd now, ignoring the fact that the majority of the teams in the league are also better than the top 4 season?
  3. it’s certainly stronger than 5 years ago. Not certain it’s stronger than last season other than a player we already owned coming back. No Botman for ages, Wilson crumbling, Willock made of glass, not even an Anderson or Miley to bring in.
  4. Nope, only at the end of the "project" can we judge each individual transfer window.
  5. Guehi to Liverpool in 5...4...3...2
  6. If we don't sign anyone and I don't get Oasis tickets in the morning, well, I just don't know what's gonna happen.
  7. He's so fucking rubbish with the ball man Teams don't even both closing him down, they just make sure Bruno can't get it off him.
  8. You also said we were signing Guehi tbf 😉
  9. Why didn’t we just sign him instead of the keeper if we wanted him? Were Forest finding it that impossible to shift him?
  10. Need Miley to come back fighting fit so we can sell him to Brighton next summer. That should fund a replacement keeper.
  11. Saving them for later mate

£25m is a fairly big difference like. Especially in PSR terms.
  14. Assume next summer the targets will be: new GK new RCB new RW new ST Or a new manager?

Lad's a really good pro, but if he was really that bothered about a move he'd be handing a transfer request in. Like VVD did to join Liverpool. Like Lescott did to join Man City. Like John Stones did to leave Everton. All good pros.
  16. Krafth, Longstaff and Murphy.
  17. I'm not arguing with that (my posts have always been pretty clear on this). I'm just saying that people stating we have £70m to spend as some form of justification is not right. The club were choosing to risk a huge fee (£55m was closer) with the knowledge we'd have to offset it further down the line. Because the club haven't recognised any other players that might be worth that risk they've decided to go with nobody. It's not how I would do it, but I'm not the owner.
