  1. We’re not selling any of those though. Lejuene, schar and Muto will be the sales; we’ll get about £20m for the 3 of them.
  2. I like @Fantail Breeze there, I said it
  3. It's ok though, someone else will be interested in buying the club next summer. Give us something to #wait for.
  4. That's not how this club works.
  5. Well, it's from a year ago.
  6. Newcastle United may cash in on Woodman as value rockets (footballinsider247.com)

    Paul Dummett

Obviously the takeover is close then
  8. Think of the profit we'll make on ASM and Wilson though. Won't you think of the profit goddammit!
  9. Kane doesn't strike me as the type that wants to go abroad and play tbh. He'd score 40 a season at Man City, if they wanted him. I'm not convinced they do now though. Talk is they're looking at turning Torres into a 9 instead of splashing the cash on a new forward.
  10. Arbitration is still in the background. It may not be required though, depends on.... The EPL still need to respond to the legal action against them. This may result in compensation and/or a change to the ruling on the owners test. There are thoughts that the EPL won't want the legal hearing to go ahead because of potentially damning evidence regarding the ESL and Master. Piracy is still potentially an issue but signs are looking positive on this (as above) That's all I know really.
  11. I think Liverpool and West Ham are the best examples of this coming into play this season. (for positive and negative). I'd probably argue that Leeds might be higher in the table too.
  12. Of course fans matter, but I don't think the league table would be too much different this season with fans in.
  13. Tricky to gauge too isn't it. If fans matter that much then surely they matter to every team? So some of the games Man United have won away this season they would have lost if the home teams had their fans there? Obviously some fans are better than others (using Man United as an example here is hilarious though) so you'll see teams like West Ham doing better because they're in empty stadiums.
  14. So the relaxing of FFP, is that only this year? Assume it's going to come back in some form ready for next season? You'd think our potential buyers would certainly want the takeover to go through before too much changes with that, no?
  15. We’re always only 5 away tbf
  16. I do agree, but my life would be a tiny bit better knowing Bruce wasn’t anything to do with the club. I wouldn’t expect us to compete, but I could forget about his existence.
  17. The squad is useless, the first 11 are probably capable of 12th. Our striking options after Wilson are joelinton, Gayle and Carroll. Our central midfielders after willock and shelvey are Longstaff, Hayden and Hendrick. We have no decent fullbacks. Take ASM and almiron out and you end up with an unfit Fraser, Murphy and Ritchie. Our squad depth is appalling. We rely on 4 or 5 really good players to drag the others through.
  18. I really don’t believe that is the case. People just don’t believe it’s going to happen. Surely you can see there are gonna be people on the forum from both opinions shouting “told you so” whichever way it goes? It just happens that you’re on the positive side, but that doesn’t mean people who oppose your view are just doing it to prove you wrong?
  19. I get that. I mean our manager is the one who got rid of one of the players (lejuene) I mentioned. He also brought in krafth. It’s all on him.
  20. I’d argue that a few of them are. Murphy, Krafth, shelvey, dummett - none of them good enough regardless of who the manager is.
