  1. How can MBS be charged with lopping someone's head off. Its the law of the land so its a judicial killing, the same as the USA who executed that woman in the gas chamber the other day, that's also a judicial killing. Should Trump be charged with murder, because he was the one that said executions in the USA should be resumed. Probably, yeah
  2. Currently a shitty club, potentially one of the greatest clubs in the world. Not sure why it's even being discussed.
  3. I think he knows he can't turn it around - that's why he sent the team out to not lose against Sheff United. He knows he's done, and he's hoping for his payout.
  4. We're the epitome of shitty clubs at the moment. By the way, the Crown estates want to buy a club, the Queen should be subjected to the test, yes.
  5. We're a negative bunch, seen this all before. We'll all be positive once Ashley goes though, don't worry.
  6. It's the tick box titled "do you chop journalists up?" just under the "do you allow the piracy of global sport?" box which may cause issues. Could just tick no though I guess. Light-hearted post before anyone moans.
  7. We love to sign a left back on loan don't we. Bet he never plays.
  8. More evidence for De Marco and co to show our takeover was subjected to far stricter scrutiny than any previous. I would have thought the government would have pushed for them to accept the bid. Premier league went to them.... I think they would, but the point is why did they feel they had to go to them. It’s meant to be a confidential process and if scrutiny of our takeover has been shown to be different to others, it all plays into the narrative that we have been treat differently. I expect to tell them that they are going to reject the bid and wanted to explain why (Piracy) or get more info on the buyers. Also we probably have been treated differently but I can't think of any club being bought while at the same time running an illegal sports stations that steals games. I'm still confused by this. Is it PIF that are illegally streaming games? Is this still going on? https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2020/6/16/explainer-the-piracy-case-against-saudis-beoutq-channel Think we all know if the Saudis wanted to shut it down they could. Probably could have but its still got nothing to do with PIF. Separate legal entity which is what do marco is trying to prove. I suppose its a bit like having a limited company over here. I am the sole director and shareholder of my company, i earn its money, i spend it, i have complete control over the business, its direction and its finances. But legally, its separate to me. That's where a problem arises though surely. As the owners and directors test has to find the parties who are have control over said company. With PIF describing themselves as the sovereign wealth fund of the state then the state surely has control over PIF. So it doesn't really matter if it's a separate legal entity in itself in that respect. And there he is! Laugh a minute this lad. Why is he wrong here though? You are obviously spoiling for a fight. Was I wrong? I have no idea, that’s why I asked you?
  9. City games are so dull these days.
  10. Probably. I mean Manchester United managed to take Shola Shoretire from under our noses. They took him directly from the academy, by giving his dad a 'job' so they'd move to Manchester. And it was Man City. Reading about it here. https://theathletic.co.uk/2198709/2021/01/13/man-city-soccer-football/ How has he had such a shite career after being so highly rated?

  12. They changed the rules after that Then citeh owners should be forced to sell. It states that the test is applied to every club every season. They can't be forced to sell but they can be expelled from the league. Along with Chelsea.
  13. The squad is a bit shit, but not as shit as Bruce is making it look. Shelvey, Ritchie, Yedlin, Murphy, Longstaff, Hendrick, Dummett, Kraft, Joelinton, Carroll, Gayle - none of them are good enough at this level. But we know Rafa would have at least organised them.
  14. Bruce as manager, given he's killed my love of the game
  15. What is it then? Which other managers use it? Similar to false 9, positioned behind the strikers but rather than primarily skilled on the ball moves a lot without it, for exemple drifting out wide to create space for other players. Think Özil. Found this: https://thefalse9.com/2015/11/football-tactics-for-beginners-the-false-10.html Not a chance he was playing Longstaff in that role, he'd be useless at it
  16. What is it then? Which other managers use it?
  17. We've played Villa, Southampton and Brighton this season and beat them all. Strange for you to mention away form as we're the best away side in the league. We've won 10 of our last 11 league away games only drawing to Leicester. The last two years are the anomaly. That was never going to be sustained. Liverpool are finally having a few injuries and things to contend with and it's not so easy when your best player is out injured. We were crying out for a creative midfielder in Bruno. Since we've signed him nobody has taken more points than us. So we absolutely could keep up, but I think we need a right winger and centre back to become consistent contenders again. Liverpool and City are obviously still better sides, but the gap is close again and we'll continue to close it. What's your thoughts on Pogba's current form?
  18. A centre mid and a left back are the absolute bare minimum. Trying to bring in attacking players is absolutely pointless until both of those areas are addressed.
  19. Longstaff spent the majority of the first half sat 6 yards in front of the defenders. Is that where false 10's play?
  20. You are wrong. They don't want a club that is anywhere near the Championship. They could easily buy one now without all the bother if that was the case. If we get relegated they most likely will decide to go for Leeds, they tick all the right boxes. One club city, fanatical fanbase like us, been in the doldrums for years like us, also the Reubens most likely have business interests in Leeds and Amanda is a born and bred Yorkshire lass, plus Leeds could probably be bought for a lot less than £350m!!! The thing is, they all (individually and as a consortium) have made it clear throughout, that they want and intend to buy Newcastle United FC. They do NOT just want to buy "a club". Surely, you are able to accept that fact? They will not buy us if we go down. This has been confirmed by people very close to the buyers. People very close to the buyers said that this was a done deal 6 months ago. Pinch of salt. However, I suspect they're putting huge pressure on Ashley to sack Bruce now, but the issue is getting someone to come in and "save" the season.
  21. While I agree with this surely the noises coming out are that we’ll get an answer one way or another this month or next We've heard that too many times before.
  22. The red card by Burnley was cancelled out because of the foul by Shaw Well then if you feel your player was fouled that means you should go in with both studs up to get a red card to stop the attack, because if you just commit a "professional foul" you just get a booking and they get a free kick. Burnley gained an advantage by their player committing a red card challange (according to VAR), how is that the correct way to officiate a game? Shaw’s challenge was being checked regardless of what happened after it.
