  1. Why does that complicate anything? If they're willing to sell him now for £30m (inevitably paid over 5-6 years anyway) then what's the difference between that and us paying £5m loan fee now with option to buy at £25m at the end of the season? Might be worth more than £30m at the end of the season Aye but they're perfectly happy to sell now for £30m apparently. If they just weren't willing to sell now and only willing to loan in the hope of his price rising I could understand it, but not in this case. Sounds more like we've just made no effort to get a future fee agreed. Nailed it.
  2. Chelsea want £30m for him. I kid you not. That’s the market, we are the only people not operating in it. Zero chance he stays here if he has a good season Yeah I agree with you. Rafa and Kenedy leaving at the same time is gonna be interesting like. Aye, it'll be very depressing. As usual we are ducking out of paying going rates, scrambling for bargains. As it stands we've loaned a player, bought a keeper for cheap, and brought in a free transfer. The next manager will sign a 5 year contract and be given £80m to spend though. We just won’t be able to attract anyone. Rafa’s in a hell of a strong position if he just lets his contract run out, especially if he keeps us up again.

  4. What a fucking surprise He’s worth more than that in my opinion. We’ll throw a loan bid in I think.
  5. Course we can, as long as there isn’t a bidding war. Well there's the snag. Not every deal becomes a bidding war. The problem is wolves will pay higher wages and agent fees I guess.

  8. Is it wrong to quote myself? This story about another Chelsea player is odd though, I think it’s a bluff.
  9. Yep, he’s ace. Now this is the signing to get me excited.
  10. Wasn’t a failed bid at the time was it? Probably. Can't fully remember tbh. It wasn’t, it was a rumoured £27m bid. Not failed.

  12. Weird as in season ticket renewal time?

Proper strange seeing passbacks in these games. Shocked to see Parker passing it back to Shilton and him picking it up.

Got a feeling it'll be another.
  15. Is he a number 10? And at the same time we stuggle to spend more than £15m on a player. Fun times. Maybe we could try to get him on loan and scupper West Ham's plans.
  16. Same person who gave me the Kenedy news, so again, pinch of salt, but Man City have enquired about Hazard.
  17. Fee? Thought he’d had a decent season.
  18. All this loan with option to buy shit, i’m assuming we have to wait another year for the tv money to actually be used for transfers? Is this year’s gonna be used to pay Ashley’s loan?
  19. I’ve heard, pinch of salt I realise, that it’s done. Only a loan though.
  20. Far too expensive now. Should have sanctioned the deal we had in place last summer.
  21. I said on the day that it would be the last day of exciting news. The club is so transparent man.

It’ll be the same people that complain that their 9th child, Beyoncé, has to wait an hour for an ambulance after getting a piece of Lego stuck up her nose tbh.
  23. Whoa, didn't expect this. Lingard has been superb imo. Agreed, and I didn’t really rate him before this. Was surrounded by people shouting abuse at sterling yesterday, although the same people claimed that Dier was more important to England.
