Body language and comments amongst players after some of his more hot headed Oscar worthy moments, plus from my judgement of some of the things he does on the pitch.

Respect in the dressing room for Taylor is a problem for me though, I just think fellow players think he is a laughing stock and a complete amateur when it comes to being serious, the guy is a complete drama queen and has got to be on the end of a lot of jokes in the squad.  You can say what you want about Parker on the pitch, but I am pretty certain he commanded a lot of respect in the dressing room.

Have Setanta now got La Liga then?

Like his Ego needed it, all shall now bow down to him. Would prefer someone slightly more stable both mentally and physically on the pitch.

I don't know why clubs bother with these, they never turn a profit.

The playing surface can handle it far better these days than it could a few years ago, normally by January time the pitch was a mud bath, but the artificial lights have kept the pitch in pretty good shape through the winter in the past couple of seasons.

Little improvement on Carr imo, at 28 he isn't going to be getting much either. Like Optimistic Nut said we are getting linked with a vast array of very average players.

Hamann at £5.5m was a snip. Not the best of course, but worth a mention.

Thought that one was 4.5m, Given for net value tops the list, Solano in second.

Heard about some crazy things that went on in the 70's.

One is particular event occurred at Fratton Park where it was Green Street central at the time with home fans and away fans trying to batter it other to death. Just about anything that wasn't bolted down in the stand got hurled at the oppositions fans. Apparently after running out things to throw, the home fans moved into the disabled section and tipped a bloke out of his wheelchair and hurled the chair into the away section. Fortunately they then didn’t lob the bloke afterwards as well though.

Must have been watching a different player to me.

Duscher, Butt, Barton, Dyer = number assists to be counted on my right hand.

Duscher isn't needed while we have Butt, we need one creative midfielder at that's it.

One of my mates is an Arsenal fan and he reckons Hoyte's rubbish, I think we could do better.

I agree, we need to stay well clear. He has never looked good enough at any level he has played at, whether it be Arsenal, England or the Mackems.

All those people arguing over this transfer need to button it for a week. Hes arrived here on a trial, not a free. He could be gone in a weeks time so just wait it out and see what happens.

Agreed.  Look at Francesco Coco the other year.  He was s***, even against Yeading, so we sent him packing.  Once (if) he's signed, then get your knickers in a twist.

If Allardyce had been here last year, I think we probably would have signed Coco without even a trial. Roeder and Allardyce have different philosophies when it comes to buying players.

The stuff posted on other clubs messageboards is 10 times worse than virtually anything that goes on here.

Should be tried in pre-season friendlies as soon as possible.

Nobody knows what the capacity will be, it could be as low as 60,000 or as high as 70. The latter pictures are interesting, the first ones are terrible.
