Pretty sure we were linked with this lad for a while.
We were linked with him and the other Southampton lad Tyler Dibling -

Can someone remind me how Sesko's appearance in Newcastle with his agent was explained away? Can't remember if it was summer or last January.
It was July 2022 and it was only his agent that was spotted/posted on Insta. It was assumed it would be in regards to Sesko, I think mostly because his roster of clients wasn't that great. He was over a few weeks before Sesko signed the pre contract with Leipzig.

How many of Paul Scholes’ daughters toes show up in the AI image?

Remember seeing Robertson play for Hearts a couple of games and Hull against us in a cup tie (which we lost on penalties) and he stood out a mile with his desire, energy and attitude.
Robertson never played for Hearts...

Not sure I want Tierney, I dont think hes tactically flexible which I think Howe will want, he cant really invert and cant play CB so we would be changing our system. I think we need an Ake type.

He does play as the left sided centre back for Scotland and has done for a while now. When Arteta was playing with a back 3 he was also used in that position there and is/was used as an overlapping wide centre back.
His injuries are a concern but if Howe is looking for a Burn replacement, in that he wants a left back that can tuck in when Trippier bombs forward, he is actually an ideal replacement as he has both the defensive attributes whilst being a far better attacking option than Burn when allowed to get forward. -

I don’t think Gerrard will be as bad as Lampard either, he seems to have something more about him.
He does, Michael Beale. But QPR are interested in him as their manager so will be interesting to see how he gets on should he move on.
At Rangers it was often said that whilst Gerrard was a good man manager and had "pull", Beale was the main man behind the scenes in terms of tactics etc.

Dundee manager Mark McGhee has gone on a diet and won't heat his house this week so he is "cold and hungry" and fully focused on Saturday's huge relegation showdown with St Johnstone.

It's been well proven that Keegan's defence wasn't half as bad as most make out. As usual it's just lazy journalism. Yeah he liked to play attacking football but the defence wasn't too bad and I'd say if we had of had Schmichael in goal we'd have been a lot better
Aye the age old myth that Man United with Pallister and Bruce had a solid defence whilst ours was apparently a mess (in particular Darren Peacock getting singled out) when in reality the 95-96 season we only conceded two more goals than Man United. -
Alex Bruce complaining about disrespect yet in the very same interview coming out with this...
Quote"He's never had the opportunity at managing a club who can go and spend proper money. He's managed teams in the Premier League like Wigan, Birmingham, Hull City… his win ratio in the Premier League has been questioned umpteen times - do people really expect massive win percentages when you're managing clubs like that?

Assuming Gerrard was a genuine target it's his coach Michael Beale (who is often credited as being the brains behind positive coaching/tactics) that would be the most appealing part of getting him in.

Carroll will sign and Gayle will probably be sold before the day is out. We break even on money in/out.......guess who wins again.

Rangers have only spent that amount (or slightly more) on a handful of players in the last 12+ years. No chance they are going to drop that on him.
