If Isak was to someone other than Liverpool, it would be incredible. The Isak to Liverpool really massively stains it. And that's not a knock on the club but that Isak and Liverpool essentially defeated us.

Find a foreign club that will match Liverpool's original bid if necessary. Just not to fucking Liverpool.

Generally had given up hope of there being a realistic target that we could replace Isak with this window. But if () he signs AND Wissa signs then we have a young striker with the potential to be one of the best in the world, and a proven goalscorer in the PL to balance PL and CL this year. Takes pressure off Woltemade if we have Wissa. That being said, I'm still "not to Liverpool under any circumstances" regarding Isak. Liverpool can't be allowed to win that.

Unfortunately this is where football is at. There probably is an element of the "don't sell to Newcastle" pact that the league (except Chelsea, Everton and Villa) seem to have but also those who stamp their feet the loudest get what they want and if you're a good guy who does things the right way, you get treated like a mug.

Watched a fair few of these this summer, including an Isak one and most of his shots are dangerous and accurate, which can't be said for a lot of other strikers in similar compilations. Even Isak had a fair few stinkers in his last 25 shots video.

Is he fast or slow?

In the same way Stuttgart didn't want to sell to Bayern and have agreed to sell to us, I hope we get a similar situation where a foreign club comes in for Isak for the right fee.
