  1. Signing Jose was the best thing he did (even if he never intended to play him at all)
  2. I was pleased with our January activity, but that was more because I'd gotten so used to this regime letting us down time and time again. Think the permanent signings we brought in (plus the loans) have done alright...bar Leon Best but not every signing works out. I'm still nervous about the summer if we go up. I have no faith he's willing to invest what needs to be invested in terms of transfer fees and wages.
  3. Meant to be. The England pitch hates Michael Owen too.
  4. I had us on 97, WBA on 90 and Swansea on 84 in 3rd.
  5. What? Routledge out or Butt returning? http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/4783/fuuut.gif
  6. I reckon we'll let him take a penalty in one of the last games of the season when promotion is clinched...and he'll miss.
  7. Was Benitez this crazy when he was in Spain or is it something that developed over time at Liverpool?
  8. Lampard pulls back a consolation.
  9. His back probably hurt Terry's knife.
  10. Christopher Eagles for sure. Maybe Darren Ambrose if he'd come back. Long shot but if West Brom fail to gain promotion we should go all out for Dorrans.
  11. Everton or Villa Don't want Liverpool because of their fans Don't want Spurs because of their fans and Redknapp Don't want Citeh because of their fans, money...and Given.
  12. Time for him to prepare the emergency England brochure.
  13. Hughton Top Flight Record: 2006-07 Man United (a) 6-0 defeat 2007-08 Hull City (h) 1-2 defeat West Ham United (a) 3-1 defeat Blackburn Rovers (h) 1-2 defeat Everton (a) 2-2 draw West Bromwich Albion (a) 3-2 win Everton (h) 0-0 draw Bolton (h) 0-1 defeat Man United (h) 1-2 defeat Hull City (a) 1-1 draw Arsenal (h) 1-3 defeat So lets judge Chris on the opposition he's been given in top flight management Played - 11 Won - 1 Drawn - 3 Lost - 7 Goals for - 11 Goals against - 24 Clean Sheets - 1 That is a possible 6 points out of 33, 6 of those games we were playing 'beatable' opposition, and thats not including Everton at home which at the time I thought was a shoe in. I wouldn't blame anyone for having doubts after looking at those stats. That was Pearson. I don't believe Hughton was even at the club at that time.
  14. Don't think we're laughing our socks off. More just delighted that they lost.
  15. He didn't play. IF Mattock didn't play either. Bit of a random one to bring up. He's the weak link in their squad. If it was Routledge up against Mattock in that game then they wouldn't have been so dominant.
  16. Makes you wonder how we'd have done against them if we'd had Routledge to run at Mattock all game.
  17. http://thesportshernia.typepad.com/blog/images/2008/02/21/ricflair_2.jpg Wooooooooooooooooo
