Today was a home game, Man Utd is well Man Utd, we got a decent point away to Wolves and were unlucky not to win, and the Everton game hasn't came around yet, oh and we beat Accrington away from home in the cup. We were lucky at Wolves. If the ref gave them the penalty it would likely have been 2-0 and all over.

Wish we'd be able to pull off one of those "Oh hey we're a newly promoted side and we're gonna pull off a shock result" performances. Unlikely since we're slower than a bunch of statues...and we have a horrible record at Goodison.

Danny Guthrie's biggest weakness for me has always been his lack of physicality and pace. Hopefully if you put Tiote next to him it becomes negligible.

I thought Barton was woeful. A real return to form - he can do it every once in a while when he's got a bee in his bonnet and is centre of attention but week in, week out, just plain not good enough. He didn't look any better last year against similar standard opposition - Guthrie, on the other hand, pissed it. For me, he's a much better player than Barton. Barton's set pieces are f***ing terrible, so easy to defend. I forgot about Guthrie. Sooner he gets back the better.

All I'm hoping is this is the game that Tiote rises to prominence and keeps Smith out of the team forever.
