Id definitely get him. He is one of the best attacking midfielders in the premiership and probably one of citehs most important players. I dont think 5th is too unrealistic i mean bolton were there when he left and on paper we have a much stronger squad then them. I think 5th place is easily achievable tbh and any team this season round mid table could have gotten there if they had been just a tad more consistant! I think Sam will get us into the top 7 and back into europe and with a bit of luck maybe challenging the top 4 the season after next

Didnt Schmichael say that he thought Given was one of the top 3 keepers in the world when he was a pundit on MOTD recently. I dont think anyone can argue with that as he is one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time. my top 5 in prem are given cech Jaskelinaan Van der Sarr probably Lehmann or Friedel Everyone goes through a stage when they are great, everyone was saying Dudek was the best in the premiership the other year and he turned out crap and now Robinson is being found out. Given has been consistantly class for nearly 10 years so he has more than proved himself.

You say Harper was at fault for goal yet you gave him an 8!!!!! I must admit Carew was very impressive last night and could easily have had a couple if it wasnt for the inside of the post, would definitely have improved our team and is much better than Sibierski.
