Also too early i'd like to see the quality of defenders we get in. Some decent ones and we'll be challenging for fourth i reckon with Arsenal and spuds. I fancy bolton to struggle big time this season but probably still too good to go down. Hard to say with wigan with the beasts of bramble, heskey and sibierski starting for them! Reckon unless the mackems sign some more quality they'll go down their defence is shite!

9/2 for Sunderland is extremely good odds IMO, have a very tough start and could cause them to lose confidence and they would maybe doubt themselves again that they're not good enough for the top flight. No decent signings yet even though they link themselves to players who would never dream of going there!

I'd personally go for Taylor, think it could be great for him and the age debate isnt that big a deal as people make out at plenty of clubs have young captains, think its the experience which is more important

I was saying to my mate all game i aint staying back, full time i stood there didnt really boo as such but waited till they walked round the pitch. I dunno if it was guilt because they had their bairns with them or because they had the balls to do the lap of honour despite being so shit but i did clap a little. Dont think the whole team deserved to be tarnished with the same brush...players like Milner, Taylor, Given, etc dont deserve to be booed when they are with their kids (Just my opinion of course )
