Funny league games stat:
Oba Martins:
Inter: played 88, scored 28
Newcastle: played 88, scored 28
I guess he delivered to some extent.
-
Always the same with Roma it seems... years go by nothing changes.
-
Of course Shevchenko scores against Inter
-
I'd be more annoyed if the name made any sense. It's unacceptable either way of course but this is marketing 101 surely: the name is too long, makes no sense, you get lost half way in it when reading it even.
I can't believe they are consistently this retarded in their decision making... as said they must just be taking the piss now.
-
Every day this makes less and less sense

On current form: Umbro, their recent rebranding looks great.
See current England and Man City shirts... lovely stuff.
Plus always been an Umbro lover anyway. Would probably be better for the club if they stuck with Adidas but if we had to change...
-
Considering we end up winning by five goals, I don't think it will be a massive deal
Still, I do agree about the decision though.
No yeah, definitely. It's the fact this happened in supposedly the highest level of football that I find scary. These clowns might be calling stuff like this in the knockout stages next.
There's an easy contrast for a potential case study in the very same game even! See Marseille's first. Again, three players offside but goal was perfectly valid and this time correctly given.
-
That second goal for Marseille was a disgrace. How they can allow that at this level is baffling. The three Marseille players didn't touch the ball, but clearly they are more than interfering: offside.
Luckily don't think it would have changed anything concerning the outcome of the game.
-
Thought it was perfectly fine too at first, but some of the replays did show that Nolan didn't touch the ball at all.
-
Only if we spend 40m between now and the start of the season on decent players. How likely does that seem?
Next Summer is definitely a scary prospect no matter what. If we go up, great, but we would need such a major overhaul and influx of quality (which most probably won't happen) to survive in the Prem.
If we don't go up with we'll lose the players that make us better in the CCC and dig our heals in even deeper into this league.
We just have to pray we get promoted and luckbox our way to surviving next season.

lol at the alterior motive of posting this. Similar, yet very different at the same time.
-
Part of the reason is that we a scraping to get back to where we were... so it might not feel like much of an achievement as such. Like losing at a casino and playing again just to win it back, if you do that's good and all, but you're only back where you started.
Also the way events overlapped between this season and last it might be that every game is like on ongoing reminder of the club's failure.
Plus all the stuff going behind the scenes of course.

Lucky yellow kit again.
The more I see it, the more I love that kit.

YES! fuck me, Harper was on his game tonight!

We turned into Brazil there for a minute!!

That cross from Jonas
He doesn't have a clue where he's sending that.
-
Ho ho ho ho ho !!! Will take that one thank you.

Bar Newcastle United, who is your favourite team?
Bordeaux. But as for neutral teams.... humm there aren't any reall. Just quite a few teams I enjoy watching.
Which team do you hate the most?
Right now: Hull, Sunderland
Who is your favourite player?
Rooney. Love to watch him play, great mix of modern flair and old school Britishness. Special mentions for Gourcuff (the guy was unreal last season) and Torres.
Which player do you have the most hatred for?
Too many for one to stand. Maybe Cronaldo. Basically I hate most players that are clearly brilliant yet choose to be soft cheating twats coughRobbencough.

606 quote from the main BBC article:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/8329055.stm
"Does Mike Ashley deserve yet another chance? Probably not however, I will again reserve judgement and see what happens come January"

I enjoy French football more than some other European leagues, Serie A for example.
Also been very open last two seasons. Still think the refs are too moronic and stop it from being a lot better.
-
It is the biggest game for sure, but they call it the "Classico" in France... which is such a stupid cringeworthy name
-
Top of the league then?
Yeap one point clear.
-
a huge HUGE goal!!!!
Aye, indeed. Massive stuff.
Hold you bastards now!
