Distin, good shout. It was really frustrating when he didn't sign permanently at the end of the 2002 season. He had fit in so seamlessly, and when central defence was the main area that team needed help it felt like the most natural thing for all parties to lock it up.

It really is pretty farcical.
Always ugly I find when these things last after the start of the season. It devalues the symbolic of the season kicking off. PSG have wasted their first game.
Hard to know who is more to blame though, because Mbappe himself and PSG as an organisation both seem as bad as each other.

Big weekend for mister Shearer.
Kane gone, five-one and birthday celebrations this Sunday. 53.

We could have genuinely scored 8, 9 or 10. And not just from crazy chances we missed some relative tap ins.
Absolute statement win as well broadcast to the world.
Well, I'm scared now about the hope

Leno fumbled the ball but was lucky to get a freekick. Looked like a goal to me. If I was an Everton fan I would be pissed.
Looks an absolute joke of a decision to disallow that.
Would be livid if that was us. Leno just wanders out into the Everton guy who doesn't really know what's happening.

The more annoying side effect of the Kane transfer is that we'll probably see a lot more of that horrific prat Richarlison this season

Fair play to Kane, to be honest.
Been a critic of his many times, but this will not have been an easy decision and regardless of the financials of it all, he's had the guts to pull the trigger on the move.
It will be class seeing how he gets on, actually. Plus, he looks much better with a number nine.

Not an official one, but enjoyed this guy's photos last season on Instagram. Evidently many more did and he's putting together a book.

He has the refs in his pocket too.He’d be despised if he was from any of the European countries.
One of the many good things about being so out of sight so early, we didn't have to put up with too much of his tedious antics.

So perfectly encapsulates everyone's frustration from that time.

Really glad this guy has formally gotten the assists to his name in the last couple of games. Well deserved for his efforts.

We're mint

On loan at the moment, but pre agreed fee and obligatory purchase for PSG apparently.

Yes. Finally got round to ordering some shirts on DHgate this season (current season, and 95 home) and they were too tight, so gave them away. Would certainly recommend going for one size up to anyone making a first purchase.

Agreed, going from the reports from both sides it seems:
A load of Liverpool fans turned up with suspect tickets;
The French authorities had no plan in place for this, creating a bottleneck where fans were made to wait in poor conditions for hours;
Fans got frustrated, started rushing gates and climbing the stadium perimeter;
The French police (who are always quite heavy handed) overreacted and started indiscriminately tear gassing fans.
Was lucky to be there yesterday, and there will always be truth to both sides.
For my experience, got into the stadium around 7pm, so 2 hours before kick off and still suffered quite a bit from that bottleneck at the underpass and van that has been reported. During that time it was already tense, I could hear the first line of stewards arguing saying things like "no, this is fake ticket". Also got second hand tear gassed but that was from them breaking up a 4 or 5 man brawl that had erupted.
No doubt the authorities got more anxious the closer we got to kick off. That bottleneck was certainly unnecessarily narrow.
Once we were in, we started seeing the first guys here and there finding spots to climb over. Didn't see the big push as was in the stands by then, but during the game, there were many people standing in the alleys and pathways.

I'm all for the League and refs finally clamping down on players flopping too easily. But what a strange moment to make that stand.
The whole conclusion of the incident becomes ridiculously non sensical: they miss or don't even address the trip so Murphy went down unnaturally is the line, yet doesn't get sanctioned for it and they also still gave the corner.
Retards.

Is it you who ran the Shearer website?
Absolutely.
Forgot to pay the bill on the domain, so it went offline... Will have to sort that some day!

If he doesn't book him just before for the pettiness with the ball, he certainly gives it to him for the foul.
So bad. In that case what is the point of being tough on time wasting?
