Neither good nor bad imo.
I'd agree, seems pretty much like a zero sum move.

Legend, chuffed to bits for him
Steve Mclaren really is a shit manager of the highest order
Hindsight tastic on this issue tbh. Yes McClaren is a moron, but Beckham was right to step down and he certainly didn't derserve to be in the starting eleven anymore after 2006.

I certainly believe it's a long term benefit not having qualified, if anything it got rid of McClaren. But it's always great seeing those stands full of white shirts and banners, flags the lot even though apparently only 10k odd tickets should have been available.
Will be a shame not seeing that this Summer.

Fair play to him tbh. Some of the hate he gets on here is far too over the top.
Exactly my thoughts. I wish our players were half as committed to the club as he is to Chelsea.
There's being committed, and being a petty wanker. The man deserves no sympathy. Tough.

Best club level centreback in the country, alongside Vidic.
Massive petty twat also.

Thought the Feeder one for Pompey was a good choice.

Classy finish by Beckham also for his goal in LA's game

I think you're in big trouble when a 39 year old Dean Windass is your stand out player. They'll have to spend very heavily to have a hope in hell.
It makes for a great story today, but I'm sure they're very aware of what needs to be done.

Fantastic! Dead pleased with that. Well, to be fair, i would have been pleased with either, but there's a decent Hull contingent in my group of friends so it's great to see. They don't look an awful team to me. Will need some investment (which their chairman can provide), but if they can hang onto Fraiser Campbell and get another good striker in, they could well stay up. Look miles better than what Derby did when they went up.
Really? They looked pretty fucking awful to me. They weren't even the best team on the day.
Bristol City created hardly anything dangerous though.

Don't wish the lad illness or anything but I'm glad he's out.
A nice change from the norm.

In your face all of you who voted for Bristol City to get relegated from the Prem next season.

Frustrating to watch... doesnt look like BC are ever going to score
Been all them this half, never really test the keeper.

Looking forward to this. Go the Robins.

Brings a whole new meaning to the word pointless.

If we don't sell Ameobi this should really be his last of chances
... Does not compute

what more than west brom who have premiership quality? and id even say bristol with their manager as well.theres always hope
Yes I think we can. It will be tough we are joint favourites to come down but i'm sure we won't 'do a derby' and with Sir Tony of Pulis in charge, I think we stand the best out of all the promoted sides.
Bristol City!

terry should have score... he put pressure on his team-mate
but then hilarity would not have followed!
If Barry goes to Liverpool

Just a club trying to sign a transfer target tbh.
