He was a lot better today than last week. First half especially.

He was indeed quality once again. Some neat distrubution of the ball plus he battled well to win the ball back that eventually lead to our goal.

Could do with winning a few more headers, but I guess that's not really his game we should be playing it to his feet more.

Butt isn't in there to create, he is in there to mop up loose balls and give the ball to players who can create.

 

Unfortunately we don't have any.

 

Our entire midfield seems to be in there to mop up loose balls but we have no players there who can create. Zoggy is at left back and Emre was on the bench!

Oba having a quality game so far! Passing, first touches and winning the ball has been very good. A couple of his usual speculative atempts going miles away, but oh well.

Terrible passing=no possession=no chances on goal. It's getting tough to watch these games with the midfield we put out there.

Was always going to be a battle of the midfields this one... and with the pace and dynamism they have, way the game has been so far is not really a surprise.
