They have no skill whatsoever, the games often end 0-0. And any highlights are exciting, thats their purpose.
Yeah, highlights of 0-0s are awesome How fucking patronising of you to insinuate I'm too stupid to take highlights as what they are and be blinded by them.
I don't see how the level is that much different than say The Championship for example and that is one of the most exciting leagues to watch. When most teams are on a level playing field you can have entertaining match-ups.
Anyway no point arguing every stick to their guns I guess. As I snobbery is what is most annoying.

^ Indeed. Because aye, it's unsporting to not give the ball away to a team trying to get an equaliser
When you possession of the ball you do what you want with it.

They should just introduce a "Just Get on with it or it's a 2 game ban + 2 weeks salary fine" rule. Applicable in a multitude of situations.
Seriously.

MLS can be great league to watch. Entertaining. You can see the goal at Mlsnet.com by the way. Was a quality free kick.
You have obviously never seen a game. it is the worst football I have ever seen in my life.
I often watch games and highlights. So what if it isn't perfect football? At least there are low levels of bullshit and it's a lot more fun to watch than a lot of European games!
Football snobbery is what is annoying. If that is the worst the worst football you've seen then you must only watch ManU or Barca every week.

I can't recall seeing many English players at the same age being as good as Rooney.
One of the few players who I think is worth every penny of the hype from the media. A joy to watch.

Random fact: He is younger than Gwen Stefani, always struck me when ever I saw one of her stupid videos.
haha, that is a great fact!

ooOhhhhh no they didn't!

Was watching a review of the first day yesterday on French tv... and they said it was Chopra's first ever top flight goal...
which was seriously annoying >

Quite amazing that he's had this same injury 3 times in his career already...
Maybe hes a tad too overweight...
Nah, even if that was true, it wouldnt affect the bones in his feet! His knees would be the ones to start fucking up.
This is very gutting. My favourite non Nufc player, already out on the sidelines
-
Doesnt matter that much though that he hasn't scored. When he's on the pitch England are a completely different side.

No Boos mate, that was MOTD editing,as he came on they cut to a Spurs throw thatBit sad that there were some boos when he came on.
shouldnt of been given, thats what the Boos were for
I can't remember hearing any boos at all while watching the game live on sky... so that might be true. Are all the people who claim they heard boos basing it the MotD footage?

They seem to have cranked up the bad behaviour again over the last few years! Maybe doing well in Europe has inflated their egos a bit. Well on their way to giving all brits a bad name once again.
-
Gutted about Rooney though that's pretty unlucky for him
-
Except that he wasn't really effective... on a few occasions when there was finally chance for some restbite he needlessly fouled their players giving possession straight back to them.
-
That 4-0 home win against WestHam in 2002 comes to mind... last time we were top after day one surely.

Wasnt Chelsea's last number 9, Boularhouz??
Man Utd's team announced yet? Looking forward to seeing how Nani gets on.
On the bench, the only new signing in the squad.
No Hargreaves then :(

Wasnt Chelsea's last number 9, Boularhouz??
Yeap.
-
Sidwell has number 9? As if there weren't enough reasons already to dislike Chelsea... what the hell is that? not giving it to a striker...
-
If Chelsea score again i'll be annoyed.
Yes. Hopefully ManUnited can also limit their winning marging to just the one goal.
-
Thanks.
As an outsider, I can definitely vouch for Newcastle. It is a great place.

Any links to the full article?

If anything, the way Sam has been going about his business trying to build a real team has shown a lot of ambition.

It was a bit disappointing to see him sign for Sunderland... and had the deal been equal wage or a tiny bit more, maybe you could have questioned Chops' loyalty.
I'm sure it's not ideal, as he would have loved to cracked it for the toon, but you'd have to be mental not to accept the deal/challenge the Mackems were offering him.
He didn't kiss the badge, he pointedly said in the interview that he was a geordie from Newcastle & his goal celebration was that of a goal scorer.indeed. It was pretty clear what was going on. Claiming he almost kissed the badge is being ridiculous... wishful thinking to hate him even

Shola was lucky enough to get his foot in the door first. Wasn't room for two average strikers so the better one left
