Thank you.

Luque is back!! Or maybe he's simply here... whatever!!
-
Saw the footage on SSN earlier... typical typical it was. Totally s***.
Hopefully he will produce a few more at SJP this season!
Just gotta hope that he doesn't have one if his good games when Wigan come here.
I doubt it. The crowd are going to get on his back from the outset and every bad thing he does will be cheered. He will definitely have a howler or he will get sent off for committing a bad foul because he is trying too hard.
Would tend to agree there... I remember seeing the same happen with Andy Obrien. Only he was still a Newcastle player at the time
-
As far as they are concerned yes... they got a whole load of money back for a player who has since played 13ish club games in two years. The similarities with the Woodgate deal are there.
But I agree, it wasn't that bad on us.
-
They certainly got their own back with Owen though

Just as a matter of interest, we've kept the whole thing to one thread. Pre-match, Match and post-match in one big thread.
Thoughts? Better, worse? Keep it, ditch it?
Don't really like the post match cut off... so the best, imo, is one prematch, and then a new one for when the game kicks off which will eventually include all the post match talk.

Plus, having that photo of Onyewu just next to him does not flatter him at all.
-
full time 1-0
... oh no! 1-1, nobby
Some of the knee jerking here is pretty hilarious though.
-
Even for £1, i think I'd consider World to be a ripoff. They always fail to deliver on many games during the season.
-
She is very nice! But tbf they probably gave her a shirt just so they could take a photo of her with it on
-
Well of course the players have their say, they don't draw numbers out of a hat. What if two players wanted number 4? How is it obviously Nobby's decision?
-
I'm suprised nobody's noticed Fraser Forster and James Troisi have changed numbers, too..
Actually, had noticed... how very thoughtful of them to keep proceedings under 50
-
's a fair point.so we get a new chairman, new manager, new signings, and we won't do the same as last season, but sunderland get a new chairman, new manager, new signings, and they will do the same? hows that work then?
Plus, Vic was never going to let such an easy chance of being contrary fly by.
-

Maybe Rozehnal forced a clause for number 4 in his contract, and left to the club to tell Nobby the bad news.
-
It's different in the sense that Tevez is an established member of his national team, and highly rated around Europe.
To almost completely deny a player like Faubert (who is a big question mark in terms of what he can potentially become) a chance of getting into a future squad just because he's gone to a club like West Ham, and do it so publicly, is highly moronic imho.
-
Heard about those comments from Domenech this morning on SSN... highly retarded they are. Pretentious drivel.
I guess he'd rather see everyone go to Chelsea and play 10 league games a season. He's a looney twat.
-
Was the number he had at Boro wasn't it?
-
He's been steadily improving over the last 2-3 years... great first half of the season last year, which earned him a callup to the national squad.
He kind of fizzled near the end, and I guess this is a new challenge for him. He is a pacey winger type who plays a very direct style of football, very much suited for the English game. I think he'll be a very decent prem player.
-
yeah exactly... some very odd changes I must sayHarper has always been 13, hasn't he?
Was 12 last season I think.
Changed from 13 to 12 when Andy Griffin changed from 12 to 2 in his last season for us.
Why Nobby would suddenly revert back? I'm sure he has first choice to keep his own number.... and Harps going back and forth... footballers have too much time I guess.
:idiot2:

Whoever changed the title: thank you.

None of that horrible looking shitty designs cut into it then? Like for the last home game of last season?
