More pathetic fouls today from Shola. When he was on he was the only man up front, and of course every time we finally managed to get the ball out of our danger areas and maybe put a bit of pressure on a Bolton defender Shola was kind enough enough to come to their rescue and give away a blatant free kick.
Most annoying of all was when Faye had been lying down injured and just got up to try and get the ball, Ameobi just pushed him over.
The man has no brain.

Spurs fans on Glory Glory absolutely slating Jenas.
He was a complete push over on several occasions.

Jol's decision to take zokora of instead of jenas
Jol's decision to take Berbatov of instead of Keane
"off"

Very pleased for him... if only it wasn't Sunderland
-
Zokora the diving cunt.
more of the same from him then... very disappointed the ref didn't book him

Same with Quinny, although he does seem a genuine top bloke.
aye. Funny guy too. A bit of self-mockery in the studio at the start of the show
btw, just remembered are Sky going to have that shitty score and timer thing down at the bottom again?!

Last year I bought all season reviews from 95 to 2002 on dvd via eBay. Some bloke had converted them.

Haven't this excited in a while... it's been a weird sense of dreading the last few years.

He already said he had no intention of playing for England though a long time ago, when this first came up IIRC. Why would he tbh?
Anyway Robinson needs a kick up the backside... James deserves to be called back into the squad, and given the Spurs keeper's recent performances I have James and Carson ahead of him.

My biggest gripe with Shola is the needless free-kicks he gives away on a constant basis
On Sunday, he shoved the player in front of him over with two hands then looked at the ref to say "what did I do?"
Get rid unfortunately - we'll get nowhere by keeping and playing players for sentimental reasons!
Shame the ability do that and the ability to constantly stray offside couldnt be removed while they were fixing his hip. The guy is a farce, a waste of space on the field.
Fortunately, the fact we have brought in two strikers in Vid and Smith means we'll be seeing very little of him. Hooray.

Also, search "footballers when they were kids" on Youtube and open the 2nd link, check out Owen's goal at 01:02.
nice!... also it's at SJP by the looks of it!

Bless. They still haven't gone over him, this lad even takes the trouble to photoshop a manu kit onto him, some just can't let go.
Got to be Lee Stewart.
You called? ...

At least Oba has enough pace and skill to make up for his poor first touch most of the time.
-
Also... some player injured his knee while walking his dog. Got tangled up in the lead making his leg twist. Can't remember for sure who it was, but Cudicini comes to mind.
-
^ aye... but he changed his mind again.
-
That's not the point though... Owen is very capable of playing and scoring, I think we all know that and more importantly believe that it's a possibility.
But as the situation stands now, after he's been at the club for 2 years, I think we have every right to feel ambivalent about everything.
-
It's got to a point where everything is just.... "meh"
This time round we have very decent and apt cover. Not even "cover" anymore, it's main artillery we will be counting on. If Owen can play great, if not, so be it.
If he was to be sold tomorrow, can't say I'd be too bothered at all.

Just out of interest, why do people proactively not want Taylor to play for England in a FRIENDLY versus Germany at Wembley?
It\\\'s only a friendly, and based on commitment, Taylor should deserve it in the eyes of all NUFC fans.
Because he\\\'s not good enough yet.
and will never be good enough
We might as well get rid of him right now then!

1. ManU
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
...
18. Boro
19. Derby
20. Wigan
Would be my guess right now... everything in between could be pretty random.
Why do we bother with Shola?

Just pisses me off so much. It's not even football, just basic logic
Sure Sam put him out just because he wanted the last 15 minutes to be more of a challenge.
