IFK from inside the box isn't considered in play until it leaves it. If Hart had touched it twice to dribble outside the area then that would have been worthy of awarding one to QPR, agreed, but I think Dean was right to tell him to take it again as it hadn't left the box. Same as if it had been in motion when kicked, see those taken back all the time. It annoys me when a player deliberately touches the ball before its left the 18 yard box from a goal kick as they know it's going to run to an on rushing forward. Refs just make the keeper take the kick again when surely they should be punishing the defender for preventing a clear goal scoring opportunity. yeah, it's poor sportsmanship, and refs are given leeway in their discretion on punishing it, seems like some should tbh

  15. All that's true but I don't understand who he'd be doing the favour for. In fact Ashley doesn't strike me as the favour-doing type anyway. Could someone connect the dots for me? Sanctioned the signing of player Ignacio Gonzalez (IIRC) purely as a favour to a South American agent, came up in an employment tribunal (law-binding). Right, I meant in Chucky's case, where the favor has been rumored to be not for an agent but for a player (Colo, I think?). If it's for another agent, okay. I just don't know who his agent is.

  17. it's going to be hilarious if jozy finishes out his career with sunderland having not scored as many goals as wes brown has own goals. I think he's 3 behind right now, which is amazing to me.
