Saudi Arabia have been great in both games too.

I didn’t find it annoying, just shocked that team full of unknown players outside of Davies and David could play like that against one of the European powerhouses. Lack of thunderbastards too in the tournament so far, is the Iran winner still the only goal outside of the box?

Canada’s first half has been the most exciting thing about this tournament so far for me.

Lautaro is really good, I think the problem is they can’t get the ball there at all. Dybala has to come in soon to take some attention away from Messi.

He was amazing in Copa America before Atletico bought him.

Argentina pretty much have to win both remaining games, Poland win gives them a decent chance to still win the group.

Saudis are relentless, lovely team to watch.

Lovely goal straight from a goalkick.

I'm not sure this really applies to England, the majority of this squad have been together for every international break for years and Southgate picks the same players all the time. For the majority of time they do look like a bunch of players hoyed together when going forward though.

It's hilarious that there are people who think Southgate deserves the job because he's such a nice guy. He did a nice job getting rid of the toxic atmosphere around the team but you really should have gone and hired a real coach after the Euros. It was the best chance ever to win something with the favourable draw and home field advantage and he bottled it. He's a tactical dinosaur who will replace Bellingham with Phillips or Hendo in the knockouts and/or change it to a back 5. He's so scared of losing that the margin of error gets too small, one set-piece goal or soft penalty against England and he has no idea how to turn it around. All he has is the plan A of keeping it tight and hope to nick it at some point. Can you imagine how the game would have looked if Southgate was the coach for USA and (the not that highly rated?) Berhalter for England? I really enjoy international football due to its purity but it's a shame how far it has fallen of club football regarding managers. Most of the big countries employ dinosaurs as the young exciting management talent just isn't interested or FA's are too scared to hire anyone without a big status. It should be exciting to get to watch France, England, Belgium, Portugal, Netherlands etc. with all that talent in their squads but so often it's just dull as everyone is playing not to lose. Seeing how Howe changed us from the ultimate dross to extremely enjoyable to watch so quickly just makes it worse.

Shame Kieffer Moore didn’t choose England.
-
None of them have Southgate though. Deschamps is as bad but it’s just fair considering France’s squad.

England on the ropes here.
-
Really entertaining watching the back four cycle the ball endlessly.

Mutaz Essa Barshim's brother is a terrible keeper.

0-0 isn’t that bad for Iran, win against the yanks and they are probably through.
-
Iran deserves a goal here.

Paqueta is really good despite the weirdos being mad at him.

Vlahovic and Kostic on the bench ffs. Really hope the second round means more teams have the balls to give it a go.
