    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Huijsen must be on really low money at Bournemouth. That's one positive of buying players of his profile (like Isak), fees are big but wages are very reasonable and we could probably triple Huijsen's current wages without any problems.

    What a man!
  3. How fucking ignorant you have to be if you think this is the time for statements like that? Fucking cunt.

    Amazing news, chuffed for him.
  5. Feel like they need to have some sensors on the ball like in the last WC to definitely tell, replays are not showing a definite double touch. One of the best penalty shootouts for drama but feels like a bullshit conclusion.
  6. PSG were easily the better team though as a whole in the pair.
  7. Twisted his leg awkwardly while trying to tackle without making any contact, has to be out on Sunday.

He was tidy but he was so good going forward at Southampton and for us early on that I would like to see more of that. Much rather have him having troubles going forward than defending though.
  9. Thought that was the cliched good solid away performance. Defended well and deserved to win despite being nowhere near our best. Think we got lucky with the goal. Isak didn't even try to play the ball and just pushed him and the ref gave fouls from softer pushes after the goal.

It's really frustrating watching him in the final third this season, left or right. He's overly safe and passive and just kind of exists in great positions without really wanting to do anything. Great example today in the first half when he played a pass to a tight space on the edge of the box but didn't move for the one-two thinking he had already done his job. Needs to be more decisive and trust his skills more, everyone knows he can be electric on the ball. Thankfully he's still really solid defensively and this is hopefully just drop in form on possession and something that can be worked on considering his natural talent.
  11. 90 minutes to start and there’s been a helicopter in the air for two hours following the away fans I guess. Seat should be pretty far from either set of ultras, looking forward to it.
  12. Very similar but they had even more clear cut chances against us. Still extremely lucky for them to win that game.
  13. Well done, wish Klopp had the same rules.
  14. If it was corrupt all these decisions would’ve gone the other way tbf.
  15. He’s been on fire this season, finally delivering.
  16. Should we perhaps make it subjective and add another layer to officiating?
  17. https://www.through-the-turnstiles.com/world-derbies/the-prague-derby-a-tale-of-two-identities That's Sparta. Slavia's player got suspended for 10 matches for racism against Glen Kamara when he was playing for Rangers. They played against Sparta in next season's Europa League behind closed doors due to another racism incident and the school kids that were allowed to enter the stadium booed Kamara's every touch. Fucking hell, Czechia. https://yle.fi/a/3-12124714
  18. I've bought the hospitality package once at SJP, doubt I'll do it again but I really wanted a ticket for the Crystal Palace match last season when we had the forum meet up. Obviously hurts a lot more as a local but when you are spending decent amount on flights and accommodation in any case, doing a £100-200 ticket for a guaranteed seat isn't that bad once or twice a season.
  19. Obviously it's a lot of money for one match but not that bad for a one off derby match and this will most likely be the only time I'm in Prague at the right time.
  20. I've done that too.
  21. Has anyone been to football in Czechia? Going there this weekend with lass and noticed Sparta-Slavia is on Saturday. Also how heated the derbies are? 18k stadium sold out but can see tickets on Viagogo for €80-100 which isn't that unreasonable. Worth it?
  22. He followed their CF there like he always does. Got done by a lucky bounce though. Schär in a tough spot but he has to step up and pray for offside or start running back a lot earlier.
  23. It doesn't really make much sense mathematically. We would have to be heavy favourites (~65%) in all the last four FA Cup rounds to have as good a chance to lift the FA Cup as beating Liverpool in a one off match is.
