For his future - the lad seems happy here. He looks settled with the city and is enjoying his football. Am sure he will see assurances for his career to come - CL football and being at the top end, which is of course fair enough. I hope he stays for the next 10 years, though I imagine it will be hard to keep him if the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern or Barca come knocking with a huge bid. He seems like a really decent lad too - a proper modern day role model for any youngsters watching. Great to see Am sure he will be spoken of in the future in the same way as Wor Jackie, Supermac, Keegan, Andy Cole, Ferdinand and Shearer.

Another great shift tonight - along with Isak - had the Arsenal defence terrified. Well done AG!
-
Another brilliant centre-forward display tonight - tore Gabriel and Saliba to pieces.

Another fair assessment from another Arsenal fan;

It's nice to stick it to lego-heed again and the mentalists among the Gooner's support. Becoming habit forming.

Still refers to us as 'we' - same as Warren Barton and Micky Quinn. They know.

A superb performance. Totally shut down Arsenal and took our chances. Well done lads.

Played really well first half - we are playing with the low block, which is keeping Arsenal at bay so far. Hitting on the counter - Gabriel and Saliba just can't handle Isak and Gordon. We are nearly there - but there is still more to do.

Gary Neville reckons that Hall will go into midfield, with BDB at DL in a back 4. -
My best mate's nephew. Plays as a centre-mid - had injury problems this season though. Think he's around 20 years old. in other news, Blyth lost again on Tuesday night. 1-0 at home to Stockton Town.

Eddie non-committal on Sky Sports on how we line up formation wise. Says we are 'adaptable'. -

A big 'I hope not' to playing 3 at the back tonight. Wouldn't be like Eddie to change the system, surely? If no big Jo - hoy Willock or Longstaff in. Job done. -

Also remember that Arsenal don't have a good record up here in recent times. They (and lego-heed) will know that. -

Nothing to fear for us on Weds. Play the game and not the occasion. -

Makes you wonder if Pep's job will be in bother, should they go out v Real. Got to be the worst season of his managerial time at Citeh, if not his career?
