I wouldn't go that far, but 5 in 6 since he joined, you can't argue with. Cole would have needed 3-4 times as many chances to get that many goals. Disagree. As someone who saw Cole first hand during 92/93 and 93/94 he was a world class finisher. Cisse has made a great start, but it's too early to judge how he will be. Got to be consistent over a few seasons, which to be fair he was in Germany.

So refreshing to see some proper pass and move today, particularly in the first half. The ability in the side is there.

He has the look of a real predator and that has been something we have lacked since Shearer retired. He can and will only get better.

Terrific win today and as good a 45mins from us in the first half as I've seen for a long time. Ben Arfa was simply magnificent and totally unplayable - looks like the lad is getting back to what he can do, so his run in the side of recent has been justified. Real worry about the injury to Colo - Pardew has said it 'could be 2-3 games'. I don't fancy going into the Liverpool game next Sunday with Williamson and Perch at DC. Onwards and upwards though - fancy being level with Chelsea after 30 games, and also 8 ahead of Liverpool.
