I remember Dubs coming in against Manure and the subsequent games. He brought instant calm and assurance to our backline with a ton of amazing shots stopped. He lost confidence with his injuries and has become more erratic imo. Pope is having the same instant impact he did. Dubs is great though no doubt.

Pedro won't count against the squad size given his age will he? Neither would CHO if we got him. Likewise Manu Kone if those links were true. If there are deals out there that improve us we will have wiggle room to get more if we want to load the squad.

Realistic for who? 17m was realistic to us if the first reported bid was correct but they want nearly double when players with better proven pedigree (maybe not potential) are going for less.
