I agree, its pretty obvious with all the injury woes and age catching up, but in his defence we likely aren't seeing a match fit Wilson and he would take a run of games to get that edge back. Bit like Willock, we can't afford to just give a run of games (that they need to try and get back to their best) to a player that essentially drags us down and in that case they/we are in a catch 22 because they are using up a squad place. Both have to go imo.
