Where is Routledge playing, btw?
As second striker.
-
Sounds like Routledge has some pace.

Nolan really needs to stop bumbling forward if he can't track back.
That's better.
Thank you.

Sounds like they have an easy game.

In hindsight, Baggio was as much of an idiot as I thought he was at the time.

Yeah, Milner has been great lately. Probably been same old shit had he stayed here..
It obviously helps him that some of the players around him now are capable of running around a bit.
-
The right thing? Only if you think Ashley's money is more important that the team.

SSN Transfer Clockwatch:
07:40 Reports in Norway are suggesting Fulham's £4.7million bid for Rosenborg's Norway international Per Ciljan Skjelbred has been accepted. Something to look out for Cottagers fans.
Has been denied by his agent. That means it's true, doesn't it?

Nobody can tell how Hughton will do next season if we go up in the prem,
This.
(With the exception of Ronaldo, of course: at least he'll be able to tell us he told us so.)

Very surprised that anyone is taking pleasure from or hoping for the demise of Man Utd because of their owners.
You'd have thought after what we'd been through we'd understand what it's like.
Agree. I hope for ManU's demise because of their fans. Schadenfreude is a beautiful thing.

He probably makes his assistant manager do the half time talks, making the results entirely random.

Innocent till proven guilty.
Though i can't say i'm surprised it's not the first time he has been investigated for doing dodgy stuff.
The innocent until proven guilty principle is for the courts -- that the burden of proof is on the prosecution -- not for fans of other football clubs. As far as I'm concerned, he's as guilty as the Yorkshire Ripper.

A brilliant video.
Haven't enjoyed watching a football video that much since GhoeberX's Hellas Hell, and this one didn't even have a goal in it.

He was our best player under Roeder. He's only been s*** for us under Big Sam -- and who wasn't? Milner was by far our most underrated player.
The club's two best spells when he was on our books came when he was out of the team, Roeder end of 05-06 season when he was at Villa on loan, and Keegan end of 07-08 season.
Yes, and some of the club's worst spells were also with him out of the team (Souness, and after his final transfer to Villa). No one has claimed he is Maradona; he doesn't transform a team.

We usually play terrible and end up with 1-1 in these games.

N'Zogbia might offer a bit more in attack, but he's a lot worse defensively. Who's the better one depends on the team and how the player is employed.

and im pretty sure i saw Per Ciljan Skjelbred at the match today watching the match from the corporate area of milburn stand
From what I've heard, you've seen correct. Apparently he was over to watch as a "fan" though.
I read that he was punched out by some Trønder (the Norwegian equivalent of a Scot) on the piss the other night.
-
I always defended him: we had no movement in the middle, and no height (nor movement) up front. Of course that would make a winger look bad. His only fault was a lack of communication with Michael Owen.
-
Luque beats Boumsong on the fact that Boumsong could head a ball.
No, he couldn't. (Unless the ball fell down on his head.)
And neither of them had Michael Owen's ridiculous wages, and then went on a free transfer.
John Terry (England Captain!) has been 'playing away from home'

Shola isn't a premiership striker. Owen, otoh ...
