Not many of those arseholes are losing money during the recession.

I don't know. As I say, I've looked at it quite a few times, and it's not obviously a horrible tackle for me. It's not a good tackle by any means, and should definitely have been a free kick/card, but I doubt anyone would have really noticed it if it wasn't for the injury.
I kind of agree. It was a poor and dangerous challenge, but I've seen worse and certainly a few with more obvious malicious intent. Not something that necessarily needs an investigation for violent conduct, but most people not blinded by club loyalty would agree that a red card wouldn't be controversial. What makes it so infuriating is that the spineless cunt of a referee saw it and failed to give anything.

To be 100% honest, I'm not sure how bad the challenge was. Yesterday I was fuming and adamant that it was horrific, but having seen it a few times today, and in full speed, I don't know anymore. I think it's debatable whether it was a bad tackle, a bad fall, or a combination of both.
I'd basically agree with everything Hughton said. I don't think it's a particularly malicious tackle, but I don't really understand why it needed to be made.
A bad fall? You're crazy. De Jong snaps his leg off, not the fall.
I'm sure he didn't mean to break his leg, but he did mean to make a tough tackle and take out the player. Taking the ball would just be collateral damage.

What kind of manager do you have to be to actually have that as a tactic. 'Injure their best player'.
No dignity man. Christ, i hate them. Absolutely hate them.
Netherlands did it in the 2006 WC against Cristiano Ronaldo.

Clear leg break just below the knee I'm afraid
snipped
How anyone can pretend that's a fair challenge is beyond me. It's a straight red card.
-
He got the ball, which de Jong didn't. Fuck this ref.

Their set pieces are rather good, tbf.

FFS. We're not defending these very well.

Enrique is ridiculously fast.

They've bloody spelt St James' Wrong the fucking idiots.
Oh, come on. You usually spell every other word wrong.

I thought Beckford reminded me of a young Andy Cole.
I was right about James Milner, though. Thought he was one of the best – and certainly the most consistently good – players at the club.

Nowt to do with Guti's performance but what really f*cked me off is the swopping of his shirt at HALF-TIME with Ferrerira. What the f*cks all that about? Why not full-time?
They were probably thinking of switching sides, as Ferreira did a better job than Jonas winning the ball for us.

Tim Krul's kicking is pretty good, actually.

I haven't got nearly enough beer for this.
-
To be fair, though, Chelsea only had 11 men towards the end.

Corrupt bastard.

This ref is a right corrupt cunt.
