Same here. He looked miles away Saturday because he spent his short time on the pitch 20-30 yards away from his nearest teammate. In the short time he was on the pitch, he had about half a dozen balls played up to him, I think he managed to keep possession once. I'm not writing him off yet, but I've seen nothing to his game so far to suggest he'll be anything other than an expensive flop. Another Carr duffer. Down to 10 versus Arsenal at home and an own goal given up. Sure I'm disappointed with being down to 10 and losing but we're used to a team that gets live executions for 4 years versus supposed top teams. I'll take positives from a team that's actually fighting for 90 minutes to get a result or even personal pride in their professional roles as footballers. Im not happy we did nothing in attack but the officiating ruined the match via no penalty decision to million yellows and a red. It's ruined a match I've looked forward to for an entire week.
