Cunha would be a great hybrid 10/winger/backup striker to Isak but theres no way he's sitting the bench. Too talented. He and J Pedro are very similar in their ability to play almost free attacking roles. Lee Kang-In would be on my list too, wand of a left foot, creator, can play RW, attacking mid.

Isak's transfer fee is likely a Mbappe (163m) to Neymar fee (200m) imho. Those were Paris twice in 2017 and 2018. Barca can't afford that anymore. Joao Felix was 113m in 2019. Enzo was 107m in 2023. I still believe fees of those sizes are just not really possible in this day and age, particularly because most of these clubs would finance some of it anyway and financing is far more expensive today than it was pre 2020.

His ultimate goal was to play for a top PL side. He’s absolutley instrumental and has emerged as the clear best player we have at the club; I’d venture to say (repeating myself) that if the club continues to push forward in every aspect on and off the pitch he’s going to likely be able to achieve his club footballing ambitions at NUFC. He’s in line to be paid more than any other NUFC player ever has, he’s the chair’s favorite player. Hard to look at the current situation negatively at all. there is not a single football club who can afford the financial outlay to tempt us to sell him in Europe.
