What a terrible player.
-
Jagielka, Lescott and Cahill all mostly Championship players as well. There's talent in that division.
-
Cahill reallly is amazing in the air.
-
No he never. He didn't get near touching the ball the cheeky little b******. One angle suggested he got the faintest of touches imo. I still don't think he touched it. I sit behind that goal and have a great view of the box. Good win for us today though. You seem to be ducking the all important issue mate. Pienaar's hair. Bad wasn't it? He looked like a little girl. My 10 year old nephew looks like a girl because of his very long cornrows.

Aye, don't you just hate those c**ts. Bernie Slaven harping on every night, on the "legends" phone-in about us going down. He want's to have another look at the table because if we're in the relegation battle, they certainly are. 3 of their next 4 games are v Villa, Arsenal and Chelsea away. Hope to god they go down. I think we're going to take Boro apart, I really do. Someone is due a thrashing, and have been for a while, and I think it could be them. You jinxed it. I bet they beat you now.

b******, what gave it away? A part of me reckons HTL would still say something like that.
-
Aye, I didn't realise they lost.
-
Terrible, cynical challenge. He always gets away with fouls.
-
Horrid challenge by Makelele. He gets away with being such a dirty player because of his dimunitive height. I reckon Mikel tries to imitate him but because he's so big he can't do it.
-
Been impressive recently. I was really surprised when Mikel was picked ahead of him for the Carling Cup final. Ref makes a terrible decision. Boa Morte tries to kick him, Lampard pushes him yet Lampard gets sent off.

Is it me... or is Jermaine Jenas looking much more "brolic" these days? http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=brolic (how cool am i?) Performance enhancers me thinks.
-
lol. Is it me. or does Abonglahor's "skills" look very obvious and poorly executed? Well they work... but something about the way he runs with the ball looks clumsy.
-
You kid, you kid.......surely.. Either way, if Cacapa & Faye have managed to bundle one over the line at some point this season there is no excuse for Smith. Even Mr. Let's Try a Frank Lampard Style Long Shot From 25 Yards and It'll Go a Mile Over (catchy nickname huh) Nicky Butt has scored twice this season.
-
He's the only first team out field regular who has yet to score a goal thus far this season. Duff and Enrique might be considered regulars but I doubt they've played close to as many games as Smith. He doesn't contribute anything more than Taylor would if he played upfront.
-
You're forgetting how good he is at collecting suspensions I actually lol'd at that. I did actually forget. 27 starts for Newcastle 23 of which were in the league... 0 goals 9 yellow cards 1 red. What a shit player.

Have a word with yourself Madras; he missed them both so he didn't do everything right. Like he also missed against Wigan in the same position (& Everton? too when he came on as half time sub with his first touch). Take a look at the goals he has scored of late, fox in the box or headers, decent chances on the deck & he has missed. The real sad thing is that Martins is no better at putting that type of chance in. Tell you what, last day of the season, 1 on 1 with Howard to keep us up, I'd pick Martins and, yes, even Shola ahead of Owen to bury the chance. With the ball at his feet, Owen couldn't hit a barn door. A few of us have been saying this since that Wigan game when it was bloody obvious that his legs had gone but we were shot down by the people still living in 1998. Martins mackems.gif Has Owen scored more goals than him or something?

Owen has started more games than Oba this season and has scored 1 fewer goals. There's no "rust" he's just not very good anymore. Remember last season and earlier on this year when Martins would miss a good chance "Owen would've scored that".. it's always been likely that Martins might not "cut-it" for us but people need to realize Owen is a shell of his former (over-rated) self. When was the last time Owen scored with his feet in the league for us?

How many games has he played this season? Every single one?
-
What a shit player.

Brucey boy was being starved by Fred wasn't he? We need to get rid of all these players on big wages because they are not worth it. I bet Everton and Spurs don't pay nearly as much in wages but they have far superior teams. We need to go back-to-basics and sign young players on low wages although it might mean high transfer fees. We pay Champions League/UEFA Cup wages but we don't have the players of that calibre.
