  1. You don't like Ben Arfa on the right but you think we could drop Cisse for Ben Arfa and Play Obertan on the right. i don't particularly like Obertan either to be honest but if we're going to play HBA as a number 10 then going off todays performances i'd play him with Ba and leave Cisse out and play Obertan purely for his pace going forward.
  2. Whilst i can see the logic in this i also thought Jonas was excellent today and is undroppable and not particularly good on the right despite being right footed.
  3. Still doesn't trust him on the right, can't drop Cisse or Ba. Why not? I don't like him on the right either but also don't see why he can't partner Ba with Cisse left on the bench and Obertan on the right.
  4. Can't be arsed with looking for a beer at this time of the morning. I'm just reading the sunday sun with a cup of coffee and then i'll pop into town (only 5 minutes away anyway)
  5. Who said anything about dropping him? If he's struggling with a groin strain then leave him on the bench, if he's 100% fit then don't.
  6. It's actually "Away we went along Collingwood Street thats on the road to blaydon"

You're not in the public eye or in a position of responsibility, so you won't. I know, if i had i would be broke and in jail probably. My comment was directed at bluestar who mention that you would get fined if you used it in public, where the cops could here it. Bigg market in his example. FFS its banter between mates. What the fuck have the world become if we can not say what we want to each other. Do you seriously get fined for that in the UK? Its a completely other thing if i go and tell a stranger he is a faggot or a asshammer imo, because some take offence of it. And as i mentioned, stupid of him to write it on twitter, but give the lad a break It's not though. I'm not saying people should be fined for it, but it's not just banter. There's a much deeper meaning to it. How on earth can you say that, or judge what my and my mates mean by that word? What is just banter between us, might be blasphemy for other. First of all, you just said banter, you didn't say banter between your friends, how am I supposed to know? Not that it matters either way, there's clearly more of a meaning to it than banter, regardless of what you're intending. No there isn't, people just take things too serious and are always looking for hidden meanings rather than just accepting things for what they are.

So you never called someone a puff when they've done something soft or can't hold their drink for example? Give over man, it's an absolute nonsense that he's been fined £6K for this. what's being "soft" or not holding your drink got to do with homosexuality? i'd agree that it's a bit hash to fine ranger for what was intended as a private joke between friends. problem is it wasn't private, it was broadcast to tens of thousands of people. it seems the FA is clamping down on homophobia, something that's long overdue, and ranger's just a little unfortunate that his comment has been highlighted and he's been made an example of. but it's not like he can't afford the money and it's ultimately for the overall good so he should accept it in good grace and think more about his behaviour in future. he should think of it as a donation for a good cause... People use words like puff and tart all the time and always have done. It might not be right but it's generally accepted. People need to get a life. It's only the attention seeking homosexuals who claim to be bothered by it anyways, most normal ones probably aren't arsed about it. It's like when faggot temporarily got banned in that pogues song, then most the gay community was like "WTF, what are you doing?". Exactly, gay lad i work with (one of them, i work with a few) when asked if he was going to Gay Pride like one of the other kids at work was replied "like shite am i, it's always full of puffs!"

I'm not a fan of Ranger but in this instance i think he's been very harshly treated for a bit of banter with his mate.

Why the fuck would the dibble waste their time giving you a fixed penalty for hearing you call your mate a faggot???

No, of course not, that's the whole point He's calling someone a homosexual slur as an insult. The Premier League are currently trying to rid themselves of the environment which means not a single one of the homosexual professional footballers in the country can be open about their sexuality. And you have absolutely no idea why they might object to top flight players calling people 'faggots' or 'silly little gays' in messages broadcasts to fans all over the country? None at all? I think he's been very badly done to here. £6K for busting his mates balls?? Absolute nonsense.

For the quote above where he calls someone a faggott? If so that is absolutely outrageous. How so? If I was a sportsman and I called a mate of mine a nigger, spacker, kike or whatever as an insult in the public domain I'd expect to have some kind of sanction imposed on me. Why should it be any different for 'faggot'? It's a nonsense man, he's a having a crack on with a mate and would most likely call him it and worse to his face and receive the same back in spades. It's PC gone mad man, £6K for having a laugh with his mate, absolute disgrace. But he's not just having a crack on with a mate, he's broadcasting it to the entire world. Considering the Premier League is having so much trouble battling institutional homophobia I'm amazed he got off with a fine. If you ran a twitter account followed by thousands of your employers customers and started using homophobic or racial slurs on it, do you think your employer might have a problem with it? Quote Andy Aaron Mogwo ‏ @ANDYAMOGWO Fifa ranking of tday.. #PatrickNzuzi , me @ANDYAMOGWO @NilePowerRanger & #SamAdjei Quote Nile ranger @NilePowerRanger @ANDYAMOGWO no I'm top.. Faggot That to me just reads as him cracking on with his mate about a game of FIFA. Would he have got a £6K fine if he'd called his mate a Tosser or a Doyle??? It's a nonsense.
  16. Solved it. Difference is the £10 each extra they took last year by DD for the Magpie Mover Tickets which this year we've never used because i can now park at work. They've took the payment for the 2 tickets on one DD rather than 2.
  17. I've just changed banks so have had to have a look at my old bank to see what i had been paying. I was paying £26.87 a month for me and £8.37 a month for the bairn a total of £35.24. Today they've took a DD from my new bank account under the reference for mine of £34.33 but nothing under the other reference which is a difference of £7.46?? That's obviously less than the 2 combined last year but more than 10% as well which was the discount for having kept your ticket when relegated??

  19. I don't think Cisse will start the game and would like to see HBA Start up front/floating around with Ba .
  20. They've also combined my DD with my Daughters into 1 DD whereas in the last 2 years they've same out as 2 seperate DD's. EDIT Either that or mine has gone up £8 and her's hasn't come out yet as there are definately still 2 DD's set up on my account.
