Disappointing Agree that it was a pen, but what do you expect from the Juventus players and Buffon? I get that it was injury time in one of the great comebacks. I get that it changed the tie with the last kick. However, the boundaries of acceptable behaviour are pretty clear, and the ref felt Buffon went outside them. He could have booked the lot of them, the way the Juve players mobbed him. And yeah, disappointing that one of the greatest keepers of the past 30-40 years took a little shine off his legacy. He's one of those players that transcends club or country because he's that good; he is admired by so many, and to see him behave like that... In a saner world, Buffon would apologise to the ref, his team-mates and his club's supporters. I'm not holding my breath.

I don't get this view. It's an emotional game ffs. They were inches away from one of the greatest comebacks ever. Their reaction is totally understandable. Nah, not having that. If it was the wrong decision you could just about argue their case, but not there. What a load of shite. People expecting them to applaud the decision?

I despise Real, but Lucas isn't flopping, he's going to put his head to the ball and score. If Benatia doesn't touch the ball first, I still haven't seen a clear replay then it's a penalty tbf. Do think the red card is a bit weak however. What is the ref expecting after making a decision like that in this game?

Michael Oliver, terrible? Not a chance, he's easily one of the best around. Hom being one of the best doesn’t mean he can’t been terrible. Refereeing standards these days is a joke. Homophobic slurs are uncalled for, however you feel about his refereeing ability. This gem should not be ignored btw. And I stand my Michael Oliver being a weak referee.

I mean it might be the right decision. I still can't decide from the replays I've seen. But honestly, who puts Michael Oliver in charge of a game like this. He's a terrible referee.

Daft comment given how many average sides play in the competition and equally average players. He’d do a job for PSG or Bayern, although he obviously wouldn’t star. To rule him out of such moves because he’s not a top player is daft. Err... didn’t he sign for Chelsea after all? I hope we sign him and he continues to develop here because he has the makings of a top player for us and in Rafa someone who can get him into the Brazil side no doubt. Why is it a daft comment? Based on what I've seen, there's no way he is good enough to even be a part-time player for any of those teams. If a guy like Lucas Moura who is a much more accomplished and better footballer can barely get a second for PSG or even Spurs then I don't see how Kenedy could.
