Probably Marin from Swiss/US jail.

The voting procedure is a total joke mind. CONCACAF having about 11 less votes than UEFA or whatever it is plus those you mention and its little chance he would be f***ed off. Its about time votes were linked to the FIFA rankings so New Caledonia dont have the same voting rights as Brasil, Germany or Spain. Utterly mental how much value is put on these backwater nations just to help swing the vote I'd rather we had no vote at all, bunch of corrupt oldies sitting there collecting bribe moneys. Rather Spain wouldn't either. Be better if World Cup could be hosted everywhere but only northern European countries could vote for a president Harsh, but fair. I've learnt that any country speaking a language derived from Latin should have no vote.

They're probably involved in 95% of Brazilian transfers as they own all of them. Bunch of pricks the lot.

Seems to be a fair few who actually agree with this though... Or Europe + Aussie + US. At the end of the day a well run FIFA would never have voted for Qatar. But saying that a World Cup should only be played in countries where there are facilities and infrastructure in place already actually takes away a huge majority of nations who deserve a chance to host. FIFA should promote development in countries, because that's the power football has. A well run FIFA organization wouldn't pocket the profit made in Brazil for example and let the tax-payers pay for their party. FIFA should invest all their profits back into football by many different means including one of them being is infrastructure such as footballing stadiums and easier access to stadiums in countries where they don't work. Enough of money being pocketed, it's a non-profit organization with a huge balance which should be distributed in many different ways. So many parts of the world where children don't even have a pitch to play on. The World Cup in South Africa was a nice idea, unfortunately politicians robbed the people of one of the benefits of having one there. I was joking, however, I do think there should be certain levels of criteria to host such an event. Oh I agree. But some people seem to think that the criteria should be built on things that doesn't apply to 98% of nations which would mean northern Europe + US hosting it every time. I look forward to a World Cup in England though.

I agree with chopey in the fact that they should be allowed to nominate themselves to host. But there's no fucking way they'd ever win it in an honest way though. Russia on the other hand I don't mind that much, politics aside it's a country that could win even in an honest democratic vote as it has some type of history.

Hoping for a River v Internacional. Can't stand seeing Tigres there. They're not even a South American team. Also, great stuff from Santa Fe getting three players sent off in the game v Internacional
-
River absolutely destroyed Cruzeiro away from home in the return leg last night. Cruzeiro had won 1-0 in Argentina, but despite that River came to Brazil and beat them 3-0.
-
Wouldn't surprise me. Anyone who have dealt with Brazil is going to be caught in this shit.

They're all based in the Americas because all of their information is coming from Chuck Blazer. Is this Chuck Blazer really facing jail despite being a rat?
-
I'd guess he's already rich and can't be bought?

Yeah, ok. I realize the joke might've been hard to grasp from one line of text. Tell yourself that

Don't think that will happen. Think some of the big guys are going down, hopefully Marin is one of them. Wonder what happens with the others. Owner of Traffic Sports has already pleaded guilty and forfeited $25m dollars, he will forfeit another $126m. So there is definitely been wrong doing up top and many will be charged. I agree that a few known people will take charges, but I seriously doubt this investigation achieves anything more than getting a few individuals to fall on their sword. Do you see FIFA being affected or deterred in any way? Hopefully, obviously I don't think someone like Blatter will fall, but I do expect it to shake it up a little. Let's hope the FBI, can do something, this is what movies are made out of. This is not going to just blow over. DOJ would not be bringing these charges unless it intended on doing some serious damage. Maybe Blatter will survive, but many of his key minions are looking at serious jail time and that alone should be enough to deter FIFA from pulling similar s*** in the future. It's so incredibly satisfying that they've finally run into something they can't bribe or bully their way out of. FIFA may be a big fish, but they're nothing compared to the good 'ol US of A. Nah, they'll just be more careful next time

Did as well. The two halved kit was rooted in tradition; the very first Barça kit was half blue, half crimson: http://www.blaugranas.com/media/galeria/25/2/6/0/8/n_f_c_barcelona_los_aficionados-28062.jpg That half and half during Rivaldo's time at the club is lush. Owned it as a kid.

Or you read it and then posted the same thing to look intelligent…

Every spanish or portuguese speaking person connected to FIFA should be under investigation.

So basically in like 4, 5 countries then. Not many countries have sporting stadiums that fit the criteria for a World Cup. Think the World Cup should be spread out to promote the sport, but it should also be done to improve societies in places where they are being hosted and not a for the sole purpose of robbing the country of even more. England should definitely have one soon, but the US? Had one 20 years ago, they could wait another 10-20 years. Australia have to be in line as well as someone said. Qatar don't even have enough cities never mind stadia Qatar is a pisstake though, it's ridiculous. Just look at them hosting the Handball World Cup and buying their team basically.
