I'm not even entertaining the debate that there's anyone in history better than him anymore. There's absolutely f*** all else he can possibly do to prove it. Win something at senior level with Argentina at least. Think he might get his first this summer though, Argentina are huge favourites.

Ronaldinho built his career on being a brilliant player fair enough

neymar is such a rock star

I think he would be class for arsenal tbh. If he played yeah, but they have better players all over the pitch. Was going to type that. Also, I really like Giroud, but he's way too inconsistent. They need a healthy left-back and a striker and then I think they could seriously be a real challenger in the league. So many good midfielders, especially when Özil wants to play.

Should build this side around Perez.

Brazil also voted for Blatter. And I don't see why they wouldn't. He basically gave them $500m from the profits of the World Cup to ''help with development of football in Brazil'' in others words, the development of football in their big houses where money hasn't been earned, but robbed.

But the president of UEFA voted for Qatar and stands by that decision, these reptilian f***s don't care about some peasant workers dying in the desert. Let's not forget Russia is part of Uefa as well. It's not like UEFA aren't to blame. Platini only wanted the Prince of Jordan there because he's his friend and he'd get his idea through. None of these guys even care about the sport, they're making a big fuzz about it now to increase their powers. Figo should've stayed in the election and he'd probably have been the best option for transparency in the organization, but what UEFA federations were willing to back him? Can't have been many. There's no way UEFA is a great organization either. If I'm not mistaken VI said Spains FA president might be under investigation as well.

CONMEBOL would just bring corruption with them to the new organization

You guys actually watching it? So sad. You guys are bunch of sad people. Especially Semmy.

Why not? You'd be supporting the footballing federations of South America that needs all the help they can get at the moment. Games will be on at about 2300 in the UK though so I'd most likely fall asleep! I was kidding btw.

The voting procedure is a total joke mind. CONCACAF having about 11 less votes than UEFA or whatever it is plus those you mention and its little chance he would be f***ed off. Its about time votes were linked to the FIFA rankings so New Caledonia dont have the same voting rights as Brasil, Germany or Spain. Utterly mental how much value is put on these backwater nations just to help swing the vote I'd rather we had no vote at all, bunch of corrupt oldies sitting there collecting bribe moneys. Rather Spain wouldn't either. Be better if World Cup could be hosted everywhere but only northern European countries could vote for a president Harsh, but fair. I've learnt that any country speaking a language derived from Latin should have no vote.

They're probably involved in 95% of Brazilian transfers as they own all of them. Bunch of pricks the lot.

Seems to be a fair few who actually agree with this though... Or Europe + Aussie + US. At the end of the day a well run FIFA would never have voted for Qatar. But saying that a World Cup should only be played in countries where there are facilities and infrastructure in place already actually takes away a huge majority of nations who deserve a chance to host. FIFA should promote development in countries, because that's the power football has. A well run FIFA organization wouldn't pocket the profit made in Brazil for example and let the tax-payers pay for their party. FIFA should invest all their profits back into football by many different means including one of them being is infrastructure such as footballing stadiums and easier access to stadiums in countries where they don't work. Enough of money being pocketed, it's a non-profit organization with a huge balance which should be distributed in many different ways. So many parts of the world where children don't even have a pitch to play on. The World Cup in South Africa was a nice idea, unfortunately politicians robbed the people of one of the benefits of having one there. I was joking, however, I do think there should be certain levels of criteria to host such an event. Oh I agree. But some people seem to think that the criteria should be built on things that doesn't apply to 98% of nations which would mean northern Europe + US hosting it every time. I look forward to a World Cup in England though.

I agree with chopey in the fact that they should be allowed to nominate themselves to host. But there's no fucking way they'd ever win it in an honest way though. Russia on the other hand I don't mind that much, politics aside it's a country that could win even in an honest democratic vote as it has some type of history.
