Everton Ribeiro is apparently going to be earning roughly £400k a month. Quite a step up from his Brazilian salary. Exactly. It's easy for people to say it's a waste and not but the pay increase is huge. Obviously, but at the same time, he's 25 and was called up to the Brazilian national team for the first time recently. He is basically throwing that away, which is hard for us fans to understand. As for him, that money will only do him good probably.

TBF the best usually come to Europe and do well here for couple of years and then get full of that money and decide to party. These guys are just ruining their careers. Fine, they'll earn more now than they probably would in Europe, but I wonder how much money means compared to a call up to the World Cup.

I get money means a lot, but both of them were being called up by Dunga and are genuinely good footballers in their prime. They've now thrown that away to go to China and Dubai. Same goes for Tardelli who left Atletico MG for China but he's 30 or so and at the end of his career.

Cruzeiro, who have won the Brazilian league two times in a row have just sold both their best players who also were becoming internationals to two poor leagues. Goulart to China for €15m and now Everton Ribeiro (very good little player twice voted best player in Brazilian league) to Al Ahli for €15m as well. Oh as well as Lucas Silva to Real for close to another €15m. Probably their three best players.

But the ball was on path to hit his head. His arm was above his head whilst in a wall. I'm sorry but its a dead ball situation and if you want to "protect your face" move it out of the way don't put your hand/arm in the way. I don't agree. You do use your arms to protect the face in situation like that, I think what did him was that he raised it differently. I don't think it's a penalty but can see why the ref blew it. Disagree mate. Why should the attacking side be penalised for the opposition having cowards in the wall. Penalised? In what way? If he doesn't raise it, it hits his head. If anything he was stupid to raise it like that rather than the more common when you have it across your face and I think that's what made the ref give the decision. Just don't tell me it's cowardly to protect your face in a wall as it's very common to use it across the face. How is Pellegrini a joke ffs City flew back from Dubai overnight, arriving in the UK this morning. Now that is a joke That is a joke to be fair. But, in my opinion people overrate City's team a lot. It is nowhere near as good as Chelsea's The amount of money they've p*ssed away. Navas, Jovetic, the Brazilian boys in midfield. Pellegrini will have to take some of the blame for that. James f***ing Milner is starting every game, man. Fernandinho and Navas are very good players man. Fernando on the other hand is rubbish They paid 34m for Fernandinho? that's f***ing criminal. Yeah if it wasn't for the fact that he has given Yaya the freedom to do what he did last season. Check Yaya's stats out pre-Fernandinho. I don't think he's worth that kind of money either, especially considering he's 30 or so. But don't let that cloud your judgement on him as a player.
