Fernandinho & Willian looked like expansive players when they came up against English opposition in Europe. In Ramires second and third season he scored a decent amount of goals and assists. He was a key man from an counter-attacking perspective when they won the CL & FA Cup that season. Goals and assists. Now? Full-time Mourinho clog. I do agree with your sentiment. Of all the Brazilians today I only think Fernando has never impressed me. Ramires is limited but does what he does so well when he plays at his best.

Didn't even think it was his best performance this season tbh. I know what you mean, but he's had some absolutely brilliant performances this season. Problem last season was consistency, but this season when he has bad performance he is at least contributing with goals and assists.

For all the talk about Alexis being so good last season, Neymar has already equalled his tally with 21 goals. 15 goals to go before being the best goal scoring partner Messi has had in a season. Eto'o scored 36 back in 08/09.
