Indeed, it fits Valdano's writing style. Riquelme didn't work out for us, but will never forget his seasons at Villarreal. He was ridiculous. Jesus your avatar makes it look like he's dead.

I'm done with this forum if that's the case. Can't take anymore recycled Pardew vol. 2 s**** Thank you, Vienna. Good night. http://media.giphy.com/media/1VdCubIflP7iM/giphy.gif

I've honestly not seen enough full games of him to give a fair view on him. But from the little I've seen albeit in the Brazilian league I don't think there's much between him and the Illara I've seen for Real. Has everything to be a good player, and don't think he's too bad of a 3rd/4th choice midfielder behind Modric and Kroos in the La Liga, but for the CL I don't expect him to be ready if one of them breaks down.

If the fee is true he has to be. £5m for an 18 year old is big money.

Best country in the world.

One of the best natural number 10s I've seen. Favourite Argie player along with Tevez (due to his time at Corinthians). Not sure how much better he could've done with his career considering he played most of it in South America and won three Liberadores. He was all of Villarreal for a season or two where he was absolutely amazing. Around the same time Ronaldinho was shining for Barcelona.

That's what I mean btw. Completely agree with this I don't think it's too much to make it clear, I think people might think of it as too much because of it though.

TBF, I've seen very little of Burnley this season but I've still been impressed by Ings. Thought he'd be some hyped up Championship quality striker, but he does have ability and is still only 22. Wouldn't have him over Lacazette, but there are many strikers I'd prefer Lacazette over As for Austin, that guy just knows where the goal is.

Beheading tifo is only too much because what is happening the world at the moment, because i'd doubt (might be wrong) that many would care this much had it been 7-8 years ago. As for the Scarface one, I think that's a piece of art with the Anderlecht colours as blood.

It's growing, no doubt about it. Guanghzou ain't that bad having seen them play, but it's still a step down from the Brazilian league which in itself has declined the last 10 years and isn't even a top 10 league in the world probably.

Undeserved pen for PSG.
-
Got to say Thiago Silva has been back to his best for this 35mins. Been very very composed.
-
So PSG starts with Marquinhos - Silva - Luiz - Maxwell in defense against Galtiers St Etienne. Blanc is challenged, because playing his best CB at RB is a crime.

Always been a good player for the national team.

Everton Ribeiro is apparently going to be earning roughly £400k a month. Quite a step up from his Brazilian salary. Exactly. It's easy for people to say it's a waste and not but the pay increase is huge. Obviously, but at the same time, he's 25 and was called up to the Brazilian national team for the first time recently. He is basically throwing that away, which is hard for us fans to understand. As for him, that money will only do him good probably. Yea, it really must be difficult for the average fan to understand. I don't know anything of his background if he's working class and has an extended family a lot of decisions become merely business ones. Absolutely. But big teams in Europe were rumoured to be scouting him. Man U have shown interest over the last year or so. Now he'll be playing in a league where Grafite at almost 100 years of age is scoring almost a goal per game.

I get money means a lot, but both of them were being called up by Dunga and are genuinely good footballers in their prime. They've now thrown that away to go to China and Dubai. Same goes for Tardelli who left Atletico MG for China but he's 30 or so and at the end of his career. I'd assumed their 3rd party owners would have made the decision? Read the article you posted in the other thread, hope your league gets its act together. Student of mine who's big into football was telling me about it and he's pessimistic though. The third part owner owned 40% so I'd guess they had a big say, but ultimately it's the players decision. As for Cruzeiro, they've earned a decent fee and will most probably have to restart after two great years. Big test for their manager who has been winning everything with that team. As for the league, yeah it's ridiculous.
