You're aware he's been injured and just got back into light training for PSG and that's the reason for him not being called up right? I like the call-up of Mario Fernandes form CSKA and Dodo from Inter. Two young fullbacks positions we're really in need of some youth for once. Seems a bit of a strange decision though when the matches are still 4 weeks away. Especially after taking the captaincy off him a few weeks ago. Think Neymar was a good choice, he was the one that acted the captain at the World Cup and Thiago unfortunately didn't. In four weeks time Thiago might have 2-3 games played and we're still very very early in the new project. I have no doubts that once Thiago Silva is back Dunga will be calling him, if he doesn't he's making a big mistake as he's twice the player of every CB we have together.

I hope you're right and that it's this. I'm skeptical, manly because he flew all the way back here. Surely compassionate leave could have been arranged on the phone, rather than making him fly halfway around the world and back? Pulis is just as crap as Pardew man Pulis is a proper manager, who can devise a game plan to make the most out of the players he has. Unlike Pardew he can actually organise a team and make them better than the sum of their parts. Although we don't have the players to play that way now, and so I don't think that would be his game plan at first, in the log term we would probably become a (effective) hoofball team under him. Which is not what I'd want to see but he would be a massive step-up from Pardew who has no plan or ability to organise and inspire players. Pulis has always left the club's he's been at in a better position than he joined up. Well Stoke were one of the highest spending teams in the league for years and they were s*** to watch. I don't care if he organizes his team, I want entertainment back and neither he or Bruce will provide that. With that said, I'd have Beyonce managing us if that meant Pardew was gone.
